Euphoric Ophoria

Euphoric comes from the Latin terms euphoros, meaning "healthy", and pherein, meaning to bear. This means having a feeling of great happiness or well-being. That is what these balls do for me. They are easy to insert, comfortable enough to wear all day, and stimulating enough to make me feel sexy as hell wherever I go.

Use

Ophoria K Balls by Lover’s Choice Inc. are intended to be used as an aide to exercise your vaginal muscles with. They are inserted into the vagina and you can contract your muscles around them in order to keep them in. The weights inside also move around with daily activities, and can also cause your muscles to contract. This is a great item for those of us who have had children, for use at the gym while you work out the rest of your body, or if you just want to tighten up those muscles! Since they are inserted, they can go anywhere you do! You should be good as long as you don't get a cavity search... highly unlikely.

Material / Texture

These balls are made of pure silicone. They feel like plastic and silicone, but I am assuming that is because silicone can have many different densities to it. The connector and ribbed parts feel like silicone, but the rest of the “balls” feel plastic. I personally don’t care either way because they are fantastic! The ribs feels great when inserting them or taking them out. I don’t know what the shakers inside are made of either - I am guessing metal maybe? Either way, the silicone encases them so they are still body safe. The retrieval cord appears to be a thin string encased with some type of nylon. It is starting to wear off on mine already where the cord meets the toy. I have only had it for a couple days.

Design / Shape / Size

K Balls are 4” long and 1.5” in diameter, which doesn’t look that big on the computer screen. But when I pulled these out of the box, I wasn’t sure how I was going to keep them in place because they are pretty big! They are a bit larger than two oval shaped walnuts. You get used to them though. They are oval shaped, with a silicone connector in between them. This connector is quite flexible and makes them easy to insert. They are very comfortable and sometimes I forget they are there. For me that is a good thing because I really enjoy the surprise of the shakers moving around when my mind is off somewhere else. It is very pleasurable for me to get that nice little reminder to squeeze when I am bouncing up the stairs at school, and it makes me feel super sexy to go about my day with them in. These are my first vaginal balls so I am going to say they are excellent for beginners like myself.

Performance

These balls are easy to insert. Being silicone I thought I might need some lube to get them in, but they actually went in quite well. The first ball is pushed in, followed by the second. You can insert them by lying on your back or standing with one leg up, as if you were inserting a tampon. Very rarely do mine start to “slip” out, but I think that is because my muscles are still lax from having my son. I haven’t exactly been doing my kegels, either. I am now though, and I have a feeling I am going to love vaginal exercisers. It has only been a couple of days so I cannot say if I am tighter yet or not, but I will tell you they definitely make sex a more pleasureful experience. Anyways, I did feel them start to slip out twice when I was in public, and that was kind of odd. Lucky for me no one else could tell, and by squeezing my muscles I was able to get them back in. They do their job! The shakers do not make a sound either, but it is really cool to feel them rattling around inside of you. It just turns me on so much when that happens, because I know what is going on when nobody else does.

Care and Maintenance

Silicone is hygienic and ranks a 10/10 on the safety list here and is non porous. Silicone is only compatible with water based lubes. You can sterilize these by throwing them in the top rack of the dishwasher, or by boiling them. They can be stored virtually anywhere they fit. They are small enough to hide easily, but if someone did find these I am sure you would have some questions to answer.

Packaging

I like the box these come in. It is your basic cardboard box, but it is white with my favorite color: baby blue. That might be to match the color of the balls, so if you were to get a different color you might have a different color box. I don’t know if this is the case, but that would be really sweet. The style of the box just speaks classy to me, and I like classy. The bottom flap of the box has a small picture of the balls, with lines around them to show that they have the shakers. It has 4 more pictures describing its qualities: splash proof, velvety soft, silicone and phthalate free. I am wondering why it says splash proof and not water proof though, because they can definitely be fully submerged. It might be because the rest of the Ophoria Line is only splash proof. The balls are tucked into their plastic shell, which is recyclable by the way.

There are instructions included in the packaging, but they are geared toward the rest of the Ophoria line: how to turn the toy on, cleaning and storage. I do wish there was separate instructions for these, like how to insert them, and individual information on them.

Experience

I have had an excellent experience with these balls, and I am absolutely pleased with the sensations they give me throughout my day. They help boost my self esteem just knowing that I am doing the sexiest exercise of them all, anywhere and everywhere I go. They fill me up great and keep me in a much better mood at the end of the day. I feel incredibly sexy having them shake rattle and roll around inside of me while I am sitting in class. They are easy to insert, stay put well (except for when you are forgetting to do your kegels!) and are comfortable to wear all day. For added sensation all you need is a little bounce to your step. Oh and these are my new gym buddies. They help me stay motivated on that treadmill because I want to keep running in order to feel the amazing sensations they give me!

Follow-up commentary
I have seen a few discussions lately regarding the overall effectiveness of kegel exercisors. I love them, and I personally have noticed a difference after using them. I feel sexier with them in, sexier knowing that I use them, and sexier knowing that I regularly do my kegels. Just having them in reminds me to do them. I know they have worked because I need to go to a heavier device. I still enjoy wearing them, though sometimes I need to use lube because the ribs can feel quite rigid going in.

They still get 5/5 for me.

Oh and the cord is still going strong, it did "tear" a tad after I got them, but it is still there and works great!

P.S: Persephone to the rescue! In the packaging part where you're talking about how you aren't sure if the box is supposed to match the color of the toy inside, and all: Yes, the box does 'match' the color of the toy inside, as the box my K-Balls came in was purple as well Just figured I'd give you a heads up

Great review.

I have the Luna Beads which I only wear for the thrill of the internal balls...hehehe. I find it much easier to do my exercises without anything internally. The balls don't remind me to do them either...lol.
But I LOVE the feeling of wearing them.

      I haven't tried either, but the K-Balls #10 are ribbed while the Smart Balls are not. There's a smooth version of the K-Balls as well, so if you're also considering that, I'm afraid I won't be of much help :) Have you read reviews of the products you are considering? Some of them go into generous detail about the texture and performance of the products. Good luck!
    • I've used both of them. They're similar in size but smart balls are a bit more.. oblong. Smart balls also have a pointy end, where the loop connects. I found this to be painful frequently. I find the K-balls (smooth) to be more comfortable and easier to feel but these things can be anatomy dependent.
