Extreme Kisses

The Kissa is a quality piece of hardware and a great addition to any junkie's collection. Hell, even if you don't use it, put it on display, because man, it sure is pretty! (But you should probably use it, because it feels amazing)

Use

The Kissa was a double whammy for me: my first glass toy and my first toy with a texture other than realistic and forgiving ribs. Though it suffers from the typical drawbacks of glass (such as not transmitting vibrations very well) I was very pleased and this now holds a coveted spot in my toy box. When I'm feeling particularly frisky this is my definite go-to toy!

Use the Kissa alone or with your partner, in the tub or in bed. Rub the head against your clit or insert it and titillate your g-spot. Even rub the texture against your nipples. It all feels wonderfully orgasmic!

Material / Texture

Being glass, the Kissa has no taste or smell out of the package and is not porous. The texture is... well, it's definitely a texture. The nubs at the head are skinny but rather pointy and I found that they eclipsed what would have been a very nice sensation coming from the swirl of glass down the shaft. If you don't have much experience with texture or you're not that much of a fan, this is probably too extreme for you.

The glass itself is pretty thick and sturdy (I've accidentally dropped it on our hardwood floors twice and it's unblemished). However, if you should notice a chip or crack, discontinue use immediately.
    • Bumpy
    • No odor
    • Not porous at all

Design / Shape / Size

Visually, the Kissa is stunning. Under a thick layer of clear glass lies a beautifully shimmery red shaft of plastic. A spiral of glass runs up the 4 inch circumference shaft to the bulbous five inch head, riddled with small bubbles of glass. At just six inches long, it's not meant for deep penetration but instead for g-spot stimulation. It warms and cools quickly and easily for temperature play and the width is perfect to satisfy, but perhaps it would be a bit too much for beginners.

The Kissa definitely looks like what it is so it's not discreet or particularly travel-friendly. It's small though so you might be able to get away with it if you're more the brash and proud type at the carry-on scanners.
    • Futuristic
    • Whimsical / artistic

Functions / Performance / Controls

The Kissa has three speeds of vibration that are controlled by pressing a button on the base of the toy. The vibrations are moderate at the highest setting and are focused in the head. They don't really radiate that well down the shaft, but on the plus side, that makes it easy to hold without your hand getting numb. There is a cardboard insert in the battery compartment (just one AA, not included) to dull the sound, and even without it the Kissa is pretty quiet.

The o-ring around the screw top of the battery compartment is sturdy and holds up well in the water, even submerged.
    • Discreet sound
    • Easy to use
    • Multiple settings

Care and Maintenance

Being glass and waterproof, this thing is a breeze to clean. Wash with warm soapy water or your favorite toy cleaner, dry it with a soft cloth, and store in the included velvet drawstring bag. It is also compatible with every lubricant under the sun.
    • Easy to clean
    • Easy to store

Packaging

The Kissa came packaged in a plastic bag with a folded cardboard topper stapled to it. On the back are use and care instructions as well as a basic summary of function. The best part is that the Kissa comes packaged with a padded velvet drawstring bag. The draw takes some effort but it holds well with the help of a little drawstring clasp piece.
    • Good for storage
    • Minimal
    • Very informative
Follow-up commentary
I, unfortunately, don't get in as much quality time with my Kissa as I should. I guess the only drawback to her is that she's only really good for me when I'm feeling in an intense mood. When I'm in those moods though, she still performs wonderfully.
