Favorite Bath Time Buddy
I would definitely recommend this to someone needing a bath time buddy. It is of average size so shouldn't be too much of a challenge and can function as a good warm-up for larger toys. With its strong vibrations I doubt many can hold out long against it.Published: August 16, 2008

I have been in the market for a waterproof vibrator for quite some time, I have been trying to find a nice thick one for a reasonable price. Though at first I doubted the level of satisfaction I would achieve with this somewhat average sized dildo, insertable length of 7 3/4” and a diameter of 1 5/8", I found this to be exactly what I was looking for.
First off I should say that this definitely does what it says it will, this is indeed vibrating dildo that functions underwater. The vibrations are quite strong near the tip but weaken as you get closer to the base, which I found to be somewhat disappointing as I like to feel the vibrations both inside and right at the surface. Though in my view, the strength at the tip makes up for it. The speed control knob is extremely secure to the base, so I had no concern over accidentally opening the battery pack while the toy was submerged, and the knob itself is somewhat resistant to being turned, just enough to keep you from accidentally adjusting it during furious motions.
Overall there isn't much definition to the dildo, no obvious veins and even the transition from head to shaft seemed a bit shallow for me. On one side there are about 50 soft little “spikes” 2 or 3 millimeters tall lined up in three rows, I have read complaints by others saying that these caused some pain. The complaints were made from someone using it vaginally so I have no say there, but anally I didn't notice them at all. There are also 4 somewhat prominent nubs, for some these could be noticeable, maybe even annoying, but once I got going I couldn't tell they were there.
I wish it had at least a moderately flared base to make it safer for anal play, but it is long enough that I could get a firm grip on it and still feel full.
Visually the designers made some interesting choices, blue shaft and a red tip. Online this was something of a turn off, but once I opened the package I somehow appreciated it more. In full light I find it is actually quite attractive and with the knob as a base it stands tall for all to see. This is definitely another toy I would display if not for prudish roommates.

I don't know what happened, but suddenly I can't stand this any longer.
I regretfully must withdraw my ambivalence towards the... texture of this toy. Lately I have noticed that while in use, it sometimes feels as if there are 50 tiny spikes carving up my insides. Which upon further consideration... seems to be exactly what the manufacturer was trying to achieve... what with the 50 tiny spikes and all. The vibration makes their presence less noticeable, but when you begin half-expecting a pool of blood to form at your rum, its time to call it quits...

Crystalessence sounds pretty cool. I don't know if this should be used for anal play as it doesn't have a flared base.. too much lube or just not enough attention paid could lead to some not fun times...
