Flash that Awesome Over Here!

If you're looking for a strong, petite vibe, I would consider the Bimini Flash. The clitoral attachment may not knock your socks completely off, but the toy has many redeeming qualities such as quality and strength. If you want more physical toy check out the G4 series.

Use

The Bimini Flash is advertised as a rabbit vibrator. While it doesn't completely provide both types of stimulation for all anatomies, it's still a strong, versatile little vibrator. The Flash is a great option if you want a smaller vaginal toy that is on the higher end. It can be used for solo play as well as couple's play. Because it is not large, the receiver can let their partner thrust with the toy without worrying about them thrusting too much of the toy.

The Flash can be used for foreplay and can tease erogenous zones such as the neck, stomach, and nipples. The Flash is no recommended for anal play, but if you're determined, you could safely use it for anal play. The clitoral attachment will act as a safety feature and keep the toy from slipping inside completely.

The Flash is a great option for beginners as well as advanced users who want s strong but small toy. However, if choosing between the Bimini Flash and similar toys, I would recommend Fun Factory's sister vibe, the Bimini Ocean, as an option as well. The Flash offers good, strong vibrations, a good material, and overall the great quality Fun factory tends to have. It's also great for those who need discretion since it is both quite and waterproof.

Material / Texture

The flash is primarily made from silicone. Silicone ranks a 10 out of 10 on the Eden Materials Scale. It is very body safe and hypoallergenic. It is also non porous, so bacteria won't be able to get inside the toy. The silicone has some drag, so you can use some water based lubricant to aid in insertion if needed. The toy is overall smooth and there are lines on either side of the toy. They change the shape ever so slightly and it is hardly felt. The textures (or lack of) make this toy very beginner friendly.

The bottom of the toy is made of a hard, smooth black plastic. The toy is more firm. The attachment can bend with some force. You get the plush coating of silicone but you can use firm pressure and the toy will stay where you put it.

There is no overt smell to the Flash.
    • No odor
    • Not porous at all

Design / Shape / Size

The Flash is very beginner friendly. This could be a beginner's first high-end vibe if they desired. The Flash is a small guy with a total length of 5.5 inches with an insertable length of 3 inches. This makes it an option for those who have shorter and more petite vaginas and want nothing to do with touching their cervix (since hitting it can hurt for some ladies. The feeling ranges greatly). There is no G-spot curve, but you can angle the toy for G-spot stimulation if you wanted (also, The Bimini would be a better option for g-spotting if you like this size for your toys).

The Flash is not very large in terms of Girth; it comes in at 4.25 inches in circumference. This is around average for many women's vibrators. If you want this size, this is perfect for you. Size queens will scoff and throw this one at my head. Really, this is just size preference. If you want a larger toy with similar qualities, I would direct your to Fun Factory's G4 series.

The Flash is not the most obvious vibrator since it is not realistic, but it's apparent that it's a sex toy. It can be stored in a pouch or a lint free cloth. It is also not very noisy given its power. If you throw a blanket over and close the door, you shouldn't be heard. It also help if you insert the toy first if you are really concerned about noise.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The functions for the Flash are simple. There are two buttons: a plus and a minus. They are located on the back of the toy on the silicone above the plastic base. Press the plus button to turn on the toy. Hold the plus button to increase the intensity. Once you get to the top intensity, hold the plus button for a couple of seconds to reach the toy's patterns. There are only a couple which are pulses of differing types.

The vibrations are deep and rumbly. They travel well through the toy and do not make your hand numb. The motor is strong with a sold 4 Vrooms, so this little guy has some kick. The power should work for the majority of users except those who prefer the vibrations of wall massagers like the Hitachi.

The Flash is rechargeable and is part of Fun Factory's Click n' Charge toys. The toy has a magnetic charger. It charges through the "Fun Factory" logo at the bottom of the toy. The port of the charger also has the company logo. To charge, simply line up the logos to each other. If you got it lined up right, you'll see the charger turn red. Make sure it is still red when you place the toy down and go about your day since it can be a bit finicky. It is done charging once the charger is no longer red.

The Flash has a decent battery life of more than an hour (I never want my toys to run out of power during use, so I always charge them after around 30-40 minutes of use). The Flash is completely waterproof due to its charger and it can be submerged in the shower with no problem.
    • Easy to use
    • Powerful
    • Rechargeable

Care and Maintenance

Care for the Flash is a breeze. It is completely waterproof, so it can be tossed in the sink for a soak if you want. It's one of the easiest to clean compared to the Ocean, the Bubbles, and other mini-vibes. This is because the Flash has fewer textures. Still, pay extra attention where the attachment joins the shaft because debris can collect there. Only use water based lubricants with the flash to protect the silicone coating.

Once clean and dry, store the Flash in a low-lint space. The Flash will collect any fuzz and dust around. If anything, wipe the toy down before use. Be sure to store it away from direct contact with rubbers and jellies to prevent cross contamination.
    • Easy to clean
    • Easy to store

Packaging

The Flash comes in a decent card stock box with a card stock sleeve. Remove the sleeve and there's a plain box with a lid. Lift the lid and you'll see the Flash snuggled in the box with instructions. It is not discreet because pictures of the toy are on the box, but it is not raunchy either. The chargers used to be in their own box, but now it comes in the same box as the toy. Both the charger and toy have thorough, informative instructions. The package is fine to gift with, but it would be nice to include a fabric pouch with the toy. The package can be used for long term storage but it is not really designed for that.
    • Not discreet
    • Would make a nice gift

Experience

My first higher end vibrator was the Bimini Ocean. I have a short vagina (I think when compared to the populous). I like toys that have small insertable length of less than five inches, preferable around 3-4 inches. That makes the Bimini toys a great option for me. Also, my partner likes to use toys on me and he can get a bit excited thrusting toys. Smaller toys make it possible for him to use the entire toy without hurting me. The attachment on the Flash keeps him from thrusting to far. It works as a great guard against his (good hearted) amorous intentions.

So after owning the Bimini Ocean and a G4 toy, the Tiger, where do I stand? If I place the Flash and Ocean in a group with the other Mini-vibes, I think the Ocean is superior. However, this could be because the Ocean has a nice G-spot curve and the Flash does not. Both clitoral attachments on the Flash and Ocean are not going to work for every lady, but they offer some clitoral stimulation (not enough for orgasm from clitoral stimulation alone for most users).

If compared to the G4 series, it can't really be done. If you want a larger version fo the Flash, I would direct you to the G4 Galla; it is most like the Flash. The G4 series is about size preference really. All of the Fun Factory toys from both lines are strong and have all the other awesome qualities.

My partner still prefers our Ocean but will switch between it and the Flash if he's in the mood. The Flash has not earned a name from him like the Ocean, so I can't put it that high up on our favorites list as a couple. Still, my flash has earned a space in my "often used/star" toy box.
