Enchantress Playful Ties - light bdsm kit by Cal Exotics - review by Alyxx

This is a nice beginner's light bondage kit that would be good for introducing bondage into the bedroom- especially if your lady is a little uneasy about being restrained. It comes with lace wrist and ankle cuffs, a lace collar, and a lace g-string with satin ties and bows. This is not for any heavy restraint. Any serious pulling on the ties would rip them right out of the cuffs.

I love the blue lace used for this product. The color is bright and playful, and the material is stretchy and smooth and not scratchy like a lot of lace is. However, I doubt that it will hold up for any extended period of time. It is so light and fragile that ripping it seems very likely. As for the fit, the stretch in the cuffs means they will fit just about everyone, but those with particularly small wrists and ankles may find them a little loose. There is a slight size difference between the wrist and ankle cuffs for a better fit, and I find both to be very comfortable.

The collar is closed with velcro, so the fit is adjustable, but the velcro is stiff and scratchy and may catch longer hair. Luckily, it fits my neck just about perfectly so there is no exposed velcro for me.

The worst fit for me was the g-string. Like most one-size-fits-most products, it's tiny. It does not fit most. I'm of fairly average build, and while the g-string does fit, the elastic band digs into my hips. What amuses me a little is that the back string is not sewn to the waistband. Instead it loops around it and can slide from side to side. It seems odd at first, but I've realized that it allows for easier access!

Silly me: I expected these to be somewhat sturdier. I had high hopes for something made of lace and satin, but even if they are a bit flimsy, the look and feel of them makes up for it. The set is very pretty and feminine, and I love the blue color. I found that even if I couldn't use them for much actual restraint, they are very sexy and good for setting a playful mood. They are comfortable and cute, so I like them anyway.

I would recommend washing these lightly with a mild soap and water and hanging them to dry. Like any lacy lingerie, they are pretty delicate and should not be machine washed outside of a lingerie bag to prevent damage.

This set comes in a little plastic box showing a pretty blond girl wearing nothing but the lingerie. It is not very subtle. In fact, she's on the front once and on the back twice to show a front and back view. It could be used for storage if you want to be sure to keep the whole set together, but a plastic bag would do just as well without drawing attention to itself.
