In short, the Little Chroma is a minimalist's wet dream. Like all JimmyJane products, it is a simple and sleek design with a powerful punch. If you're looking for a crazy dildo with a bunch of ribs, nubs, buttons, and switches, the Little Chroma is not for you. However, if you are looking for the absolute basics, with a buzz that has to be unmatched for it's size, then you are in for a treat.

The aluminum casing is of very high quality, and as long as JimmyJane exists it will last a lifetime. If the motor ever dies, you can replace it for only $20. It is the size of a AA battery, and slides right out along with the battery. The screw-on cap has ridges that make it easy to turn on and off, even with wet or lubed hands. Given the material, it is also easy to clean and safe with all types of lube. That being said, like other reviewers, it is a bit of a challenge to clean it off while still vibrating. There is probably a "safe zone" where the cap is partially screwed in beyond the o-ring and not vibrating, but I haven't found it worth risking.

Once the cap is on tight, the Little Chroma is the most quiet vibrator I have ever seen. It is truly amazing. One thing to note, is that it starts to hum while you are still screwing on the cap, which sounds like a helicopter taking off!! However, once it's on, it is as quiet as a mouse.

Now, on to the vibration. Like I said before, this thing has to put off the strongest vibrations (by a long shot) of any vibrator even close to it's size. As advertised, the vibrations are strongest at the tip and reduce gradually towards the base. This gives you a relatively wide range of intensities to choose from. With my girlfriend, I actually have to start her off with the more tame end and build up to the stronger side, which is fine, because once she's used to it, she's off the charts.

Those who prefer more intricate designs in a vibrator I think would at least concede that the Little Chroma is perfect for travel. It is a very discrete design that has always gone unnoticed in carry-on and checked luggage. My partner is especially sensitive to this, so she likes to separate the "tube" from the motor and battery until she's safely checked into her hotel!
