G Fun? Ehhh... Well, sort of.

I think this toy might be better for those who enjoy a little pain, or are "looser" inside. I found it to be uncomfortable, and I personally will never recommend this to any of my friends or family. I hope at least someone out there finds this toy to be fun since it does have some good qualities.

Use

The G Fun is meant to be inserted, turned up to your preferred level of vibration, and left in for powerful G-Spot stimulation. Better if accompanied by clitoral stimulation. This is not a great toy for thrusting at all. It may be that I'm just too tight internally, but I doubt that would feel good for anyone! The head is just so big, and with the little "fin" underneath, thrusting would just be painful to say the least.

If you are not a fan of G-Spot stimulation, as some aren't, this vibe can also work on the clit. It isn't the most powerful stimulation around, but for some it might be just the right vibration they are looking for. If you cash in around 1-2 "vrooms" then this is your toy!

The G Fun is not good for anal, but I suppose you could try it. The head is so bulged that it's hard to get in, even with a lot of lube. Also, as I previously mentioned, the fin will probably near tear you up inside. I imagine if it hurt my vagina so badly during thrusting, it would really hurt your bum! I do not recommend this toy for anal use! G-Spot and Clitoris only!

Material / Texture

The toy begins hard plastic at the base, and progresses to a thick, firm jelly material at the head. Although the jelly is firm, it is quite sticky. This vibe easily picks up fibers, pet hair, dust etc. Condoms are basically a must if you want to keep this thing clean.

There is no real texture on this toy, except for the texture on the dial to help you get a better grip when changing intensities. There is a "fin" on the under side of the head. It has a lot of intense stimulation, but it is just plain painful when you are pulling the toy out or inserting it.

This vibrator doesn't really smell like anything. I guess if you put it up right close to your nose you can smell the jelly material, but it is much lighter than most jelly toys. On a scale of 1 to 10 for smell, I give it a 2. Plus, after you wash it the first time the smell is almost non-existent.

Design / Shape / Size

This toy has a really... interesting design? I have honestly never seen any type of G-Spot vibe that looks like this. The fin definitely sets it apart from most others out there. The head is very large and extremely prominent; Almost to the point where it gets annoying. Insertion is a drag because it requires so much lubrication, especially if you have a tight vaginal canal like myself. Like I mentioned, this toy is not good for thrusting due to it's shape. This is a total minus for me because I love thrusting with G-Spot toys. I would say that this should only be used by advanced users. Your G-Spot is hard to stimulate, but when you do, it is VERY intense and can be either painful or pleasureful. This toy was not exactly pleasureful, and was more on the side of painful for me.

The shaft of this vibe actually bends slightly so that it can better fit your anatomy; That is, if your anatomy is good for this toy. It is still pretty firm, so it's not going to flop around on you. I personally wish this toy was just a tad bit smaller. Then I might have liked it more.

As you can see, this toy is rather large. It's probably better left at home if you are traveling. Jelly doesn't do so great in hot cars, or in areas where it cannot breathe. At home it is fairly easy to hide if you have a toy box or dresser drawer, so this should now be an issue.

Functions / Performance / Controls

This toy very easy to control. Actually, one of the easiest toys to control that I've come across in a very long time. You simply turn a dial on the bottom of the toy from left to right, right to left. It is loose enough of a dial that you can do it quickly without interrupting your play.

The vibrations are constant, and have no alternate speeds or vibration patterns. However, the vibration intensity goes from about 1/2 a "vroom" to about 3 "vrooms". I place the ultimate vibration at a 3, from judgement against my clitoris. Although, internally it feels more like a 4.

The G Fun vibe by Shaki Toys is waterproof, so you can use it wherever you please. I don't recommend submerging it because the dial is so loose. But you could definitely use this in the shower or tub if you'd like.

I definitely didn't like how loud the G Fun is. It's about 4 "bees" and can be heard from under a blanket, and through a closed door. I have a condo-style apartment and my roommate could hear me use it from the downstairs. It is especially loud in the bathroom as the sound reverberates off of the tile walls. So I don't recommend this toy if discretion is important.

Inserting the batteries is difficult. There is no "+" or "-" sign to help you figure out how to insert the battery. It almost looks like it takes a 9V battery, when it actually only takes 2 AA's. You have to play around a few times to figure it out. It took me about five or ten minutes to do this.
    • Easy to control
    • Hard to figure out
    • Very loud

Care and Maintenance

This toy is difficult to clean in some ways, and extremely easy in others.

Easy: Simply wash this toy using a jelly-compatible toy cleaner, such as the Before&After Toy Cleaner, in which you can find on EdenFantasys. Condoms are strongly suggested with using this toy because of the low safety rating of the material (2/10).

Difficult: This toy is porous. Over time, this vibrator will absorb bodily fluids, even when you wash it. This is of course, if you don't use condoms. However, even then, your vibrator will absorb the latex and the latex smell. There are very small, hardly noticeable crevasses in which fluids will get stuck in and dry up. Even a toothbrush cannot get things out of these cracks. Therefore, the safety of this toy is absolutely horrible without a condom.

There is a plastic storage case which you can use discreetly after removing the paper insert. I recommend using this package for safe storage. If you don't like the thought of storing your toy in the plastic case, I strongly suggest buying a toy bag or finding an area in your home where this jelly toy can be stored alone without rubbing up against other toys of any material. Jelly toys do not store well with other jelly toys, or even other toys of different materials.

Always wash the toy before your first use, and after each use. After washing, be sure to let it sit out in the open and dry before any play or storage.
    • Hard to clean
    • Somewhat easy to store

Packaging

The plastic package that comes with the toy can easily be popped open without scissors or any type of cutting. The paper insert has a naked woman, and shows one nipple and her full vulva. You'll want to open this in private if discretion is important to you.

There are a few basic instructions on the paper insert, such as to wash before use, what type of batteries the toy takes, etc. It also says to discontinue use if it is painful - Almost as if Shaki knew this toy would hurt like hell! How interesting, right?

I would call this package a gift box, but I wouldn't remove it if you are gifting this toy. You'll still probably want to buy a gift bag and some tissue paper for this one. But then again, I would never gift this to my worst enemy.
    • Good for storage
    • Minimal
    • Recyclable

Experience

Overall, my experience with this toy was mainly unpleasant. The G Fun vibe, although bends to fit your anatomy, did not fit mine well. It was painful to insert, and painful to remove. Since thrusting is not comfortable either, this toy was of little to no use to me. The vibrations weren't powerful enough to stimulate my clitoris, but could be felt internally. Only problem, like I said, is that it wasn't comfortable to use... So the intensity of this toy didn't matter at all. I would re-gift it if it was made of a non-porous material, but it isn't. Therefore, this toy went straight to the trash can.

You may want to read some other reviews of people who liked this toy a little more. I suppose that it could work better for others, it simply just didn't fit my anatomy. I am very tight, which might have been why it was so painful. If you are a little looser, this will probably work a whole lot better for you.

I will admit, if I wasn't so tight, the toy would feel great internally. It's a matter of being comfortable. Since this was a free gift, it was worth it to give it a try.
Follow-up commentary
I put this in a bag and I was ready to throw it away, but I figured maybe it deserves one more shot. Worst idea ever. So painful that I almost cried and couldn't have sex that night. It just hurts so badly, you couldn't even imagine... Do not buy this one if you love your vagina at all.

Great review. I reviewed the Lucid Dream #14, which looks almost identical to this toy and it was not fun at all! It hurt me badly.

    Very nice review, thank you!

@Wetone123: I feel you big time... This was just a horrible experience. I wish it wasn't jelly because my roommate probably would have liked it. I failed to use a condom when I tried it... But a condom would eliminate whatever purpose Shaki was going for. I will have to check out the Lucid Dream review in just a minute here.

    @TCC: Thank you, once again

That's what I was afraid of, the fin. I didn't like this product at all when it was a free gift I skipped it 2 times. I don't regret it
  • Contributor: ToyGurl
Yeah, I definitely would never gift it to anybody. Probably why it was free lol!

Thanks for the review. I was sure my wife would probably not like this one, just from design alone. I wish it could have been a better experience for you.
  • Contributor: ToyGurl
@Markeagleone: Yes, it is a very interesting design. I've never seen anything with a fin on it before, and it sure wasn't comfortable. I'm glad my review was helpful

This toy looks terrible! That fin...I think my vagina just ran away to hide somewhere. That thing looks painful and...wrong. Thanks for the review.
  • Contributor: ToyGurl
@ZenaidaMacroura: Believe me, mine ran away to hide as soon as I pulled it out. But I had to try it just to see. I have no idea what the hell Shaki was thinking adding this little fin. I mean, I can see the "extra stimulation" factor... but the damn thing hurts!

Seems like the give away a lot of free gifts that no one likes. Glad I missed out on this one.
  • Contributor: ToyGurl
@Honeybee7484: I'm sure it's a way to get rid of products that aren't selling. There's been a few that I liked but this was not one!

I have not seen a good review on this toy yet. Sorry that it hurt so much, I will be passing on this one for sure. Thanks for the review.

I got this toy as a freebie and it's still in the package and yet to be unopened. Might try it one day but not sure after reading your review of it.

    Great review! Thank you.
  • Contributor: ToyGurl
You guys are so very welcome. It wasn't bad to the point where it will kill you, so with some extra lubricant you could TRY it, although I obviously don't recommend it.
