Galan - g-spot vibrator by Fun Factory - review by Caspella

When I decided to purchase a new vibrator, I knew I wanted something with a bit more style and sophistication. Fun Factory has a great reputation, and apparently for good reason; just handling the toy makes its high-end construction obvious. This was my first silicone toy, and I loved the velvety smooth texture at first touch… and that was before I used it. Strength of vibration is probably the single most important feature in a sex toy for me; if it doesn’t have the juice, it just won’t get mine flowing. The Galan provides very strong vibrations, especially for a battery operated toy. It was powerful enough for direct clitoral stimulation at its max setting, and felt wonderful from inside as well. I was a bit dubious about the size. However, the gently tapered head and gradual increase in girth made penetration much easier than it looked. I liked the look of the simple, sleek design but was a bit worried that the lack of ‘bells and whistles’ might have me bored after time. Not so! All I had to do was change angles to create a completely different sensation. The ‘waves’ etched into the outside of the vibrator also create subtle yet satisfying clitoral stimulation while thrusting (better than some dual action vibrators|Rabbit vibrators - Dual action vibrators). I should also note that it was very quiet for such a powerful toy.

There were a few flaws, however. The control feature is a turn dial which rests on the bottom, ostensibly for easy one-finger control during play. However, the dial didn’t work well in practice, partly because it had no clear on and off. Unfortunately, the rounded control dial being right on the bottom means you can’t stand the vibrator up! Trust me, this really becomes an inconvenient sanitation issue (especially if your playtime gets interrupted). Also, to change batteries you have to squeeze the sides pretty hard to get it to ‘release’ near the bottom. It sometimes took me up to five minutes to get the thing to open, and since you are supposed to take the batteries out every time your toy gets wet, it truly is a pain. I often ended up pounding the toy in frustration instead of getting the pleasurable pounding I was looking for.

The big question, though, was could it find my G-spot? The answer was a bathtub-shaking YES! That first orgasm alone was worth the price of the toy, and it quickly became my new favorite. It brought me to mind-numbing climax every time, and was quick about it, too. For its reliability, power and beautiful yet functional design, I give this toy five stars.
