Gee, I'll pass

The G Fun promises g-spot fun that it just can't deliver. While it is waterproof and comes in a cute color, the material is stinky and is not very body safe. The vibrations are weak and the head is rather large, making it a bit big for beginners and not powerful enough for more advanced users.

Use

The G fun is a G-spot mulitspeed vibrator by Shaki Toys. This is a rather large toy, shaped to stimulate the g-spot. It is waterproof, so it can accompany you in the bath or shower. Some may find it useful on the clit or other erogenous zones.

Material / Texture

The G Fun is made of jelly with a plastic base-cap. This material is porous and not easy to clean. You cannot sanitize it so you should use a condom when using this toy. When storing, keep in mind this is a lint magnet. Taking the G fun out of the package, it had a strong odor. The odor did not dissipate after cleaning. The jelly is a bit soft, but overall firm as well as smooth in texture.

Design / Shape / Size

The design of the G Fun is interesting. The head is rather large and may be difficult to insert, depending on your anatomy. Because of that, I don't think this would be suitable for a beginner. It has a small lip on the underside of the head which, for me, was very uncomfortable.

This toy is not discreet at all. It is big too, so may be hard to hide if you needed to do so. It isn't too big that you couldn't travel with it, but take the batteries out first.

Functions / Performance / Controls

This is a very easy to control toy. The batteries install into the base, just two AA. Just turn the dial on the base and it takes the vibrations from low to high. There are no other functions, just multispeed. The vibrations are located primarily in the head, but light vibes can be felt down to the base. The vibrations, even on high are weak at best. It is not overly noisy, but it isn't very powerful. It performs well in water. My tests showed that no water made it into the battery compartment when both splashed and submerged. I did not find it to be a battery guzzler.
    • Not enough variety
    • Weak

Care and Maintenance

This toy is a nightmare as far as cleaning and storage goes. The material is porous and impossible to sanitize. The slightly tacky-ness of the jelly is going to pick up a lot of lint and hair when storing it.

This is safe to use with water-based and silicone lube, but a condom should always be used, especially if you plan on sharing this toy.

Experience

This toy did not do it for me. I gave it several trys, but I could not orgasm with it. It did nothing for my g-spot and was actually quite uncomfortable to almost painful. I also tried it on my clitoris and the vibrations were just not strong enough.
Follow-up commentary
The G fun is in the land of misfit toys, which has actually the bottom of my toy box. I have given it multiple chances to redeem itself, but, alas, it remains a disappointment.
