Gee, you're a funny lookin' thing...Although this vibe was a gift with purchase when I got it, it's not horrible. It's not the best vibe I own, but it'll do.
was free, not loud
jelly, not powerful
This vibe is designed for G-spot play. Although that is its design, it could also be used for clitoral stimulation. Yay for multipurpose toys! The toy is designed for females, but I can't say that it couldn't be used (carefully) by males to stimulate the P-spot. This toy can be used in bed or in the tub/shower, as it is waterproof.
The G-Fun is made of "jelly" and plastic. The "jelly" is PVC. It is strongly recommended to cover this toy with condoms/toy covers during use. The website specs say it should be washed before use (as should all toys for hygienic purposes) to avoid a bad smell. I didn't notice any smell when I opened the package, but I washed it anyway. Being that it is porous, cover it with a condom if you intend to share toys with anyone else.
The design works well for stimulating the G-spot. It is a little bulky, but that's okay because I tend to like things a little on the girthy side. The vibe is waterproof, so it can be a tub toy in addition to being safe to squirt on. Make sure to check the seal (the waterproofing is due to a gasket around the cap of the battery compartment) when changing batteries to ensure continued waterproof-ness. The sound of the bullet inside is muffled somewhat by the jelly tip, and this also somewhat deadens the vibrations. It's not a very strong vibe, but the speed is adjustable on the battery cap. The thing that disturbs me about this vibe is that the jelly part kinda looks like an embryo from the side.
The vibrations are located in the top part of the vibe, being that a bullet is in the end. The control is at the opposite end, on the battery cap, in the form of a dial. The fact that the vibrations are a bit weak isn't so great. The fact that the tip does provide good contact with the G-spot is a big plus for it. The controls are easy to use; I don't find myself accidentally turning it off in the middle of a session. The vibe also isn't very noisy at all. I turned it on high and stuck it under the comforter and could hardly hear it. Having it turned on in the water is a different story; the vibrations are amplified in the water and the bathroom is a reverb chamber. I wouldn't recommend using it underwater unless you are home alone.
Since this vibe is waterproof, it is easy to take care of. Simply wash it in warm, soapy water or use your favorite toy cleaner. Don't boil it or put it in the dishwasher as the bullet and controls could be damaged by the heat. It is currently being stored in a Ziploc bag inside my toy bag, but it will be getting its own satin bag soon, at least for that family of materials. It should play nicely with any lubes, but I prefer water-based lube for playing with toys anyway.
The packaging was a plastic clamshell and a cardboard insert. I didn't notice a recycling code, but it might be recyclable in your area. The package is too bulky to use long term.
