Getting Creative?

While I love the concept of the We Vibe II and some of the features, so far I do not think it is worth the purchase price. Perhaps if I get creative with other uses for it, it will feel like a better purchase.

Use

The We Vibe II is designed to provide G-spot and clitoral stimulation during intercourse and provide stimulation to the penis as well, and it is supposed to be hands free. However, like many other reviewers, I found that the We Vibe II just does not stay in place and is frustrating in trying to keep it in place.

Material / Texture

The We Vibe II is coated in silicone and is waterproof. I did not notice a smell. The silicone on this toy is slick and shiny. It is tacky as well and will pick up lint and dust if you lay it down. Because the material is silicone, remember it has to be used with water-based lubes and cannot be used or stored with other silicone toys, so if you are going to use it in conjunction with another toy, you will have to find it a companion that is made from another material. I used it with one of my ABS plastic toys as well as with a rubber toy.

Design / Shape / Size

I thought the concept of the We Vibe II was brilliant; however, the actual functionality is not so great. I did not have any problems with insertion and as long as you just lie there alone, not doing anything, it feels nice. I like the size and shape, although I think if the clitoral arm were a little shorter than the G-spot arm it would have worked a little better for me and maybe stayed in place a little better.

There are ridges on the parts that touch your clitoris and and G-spot and I thought they would add extra stimulation, but I really did not notice them in use.

Overall the size of the toy is small at 3" long with a 1" diameter, but remember it is supposed to be used during intercourse.

It does travel well, takes up very little space, and probably would not be recognized as a sex toy if someone saw it lying around.

The real problem is that it just does not stay in place during intercourse or during masturbation using another toy. I wish it did; I would love it if I wasn't constantly having to mess with it.

Functions / Performance / Controls

I know other reviewers have complained about the strength of the vibe. For me the strength was fine and I loved the patterns and speeds. You should pick a pattern you like before inserting it, though, because changing the pattern while it is inserted isn't very easy, especially while trying to keep it in place.

The control is a button that is hidden beneath the silicone coating and I had a hard time finding and pressing it during use.

I love that it is rechargeable and cordless; I wish it had a remote control to change the settings, though.

Care and Maintenance

Because the We Vibe II is a silicone toy it cannot be stored or used with other silicone toys. You should also use a water-based lube when using it and lube was necessary for insertion on this toy for me.

It is completely waterproof so it is easy to clean with soap and water or anti-bacterial hand cleaner. I would not boil this toy even though it is silicone just because all of the controls are inside the toy and I don't think heat would be a good thing, but a dilute bleach solution would work for sterilization.

The We Vibe II is rechargeable and make sure you read the instructions on this. I had a heck of a time getting the pin into the charging port correctly; you have to be careful when hooking it up as you can miss the port.

It is a small toy and easy to store. It comes with a little satin storage bag. I wish it came with a sturdy box though to help protect it a little more.

Packaging

The packaging was not all that impressive. The box it arrived in was flimsy and not good for continued storage. It did come with a little satin pouch for storage but I wish it came in a nicer box. The silicone sticks to the satin and while you can manage to cram the charger, instructions and toy into the satin bag, it is kind of a pain.

The original packaging was pretty discreet and would be easy to wrap if you were giving it as a gift but it was useless for storage. It went into the recycle bin on the first day.

Personal comments

While the We Vibe II disappointed during intercourse and masturbation with insertion of another toy, I have used it during foreplay and even while reading erotica to get me going before the main event. You may even be able to use it like you would a butterfly. Again, remote controlled modes would be great here. I don't think you could insert it and get real athletic or even walk around much with out dislodging it, but it might be fun to try.

Experience

My overall experience when using the We Vibe II was frustration with keeping it in place. It is a great little teaser toy, though, and gets me wet in preparation for intercourse or masturbation.

Nice review, thanks for all the detail about the design! I think it is safe to use and store silicone toys together... it's jelly-on-jelly that causes materials to degrade. I store lots of Tantus silicone in the same ziplock bag with no problems at all.

Hi antipova, silicone degrades silicone, I found this article that mentions it with silicone lubes but there is a lot of information out there on storing silicone toys so that they stay in good shape. You might want to give your toys their own ziplock if they are silicone link

      If you have an adult store near you I would suggest going. We decided on this toy because the store employee allowed us to see one out of the box and hold it and see what it does. by going to the store I got a better view of other things here that I was interested in.
    • I agree - head to your local toy store. That's how I decided to buy mine. Feel it, get a first-hand idea of the size, flexibility, etc. Then, if you like it, come back to Eden and buy it. If your local toy store is anything like the ones around here, they don't give half the number of discounts as Eden Fantasys. :)

    • A simple yes or no works for me. Please feel free to get in depth on why or why not it didn't work well. I'm thinking of this as a gift for my husband on his belated birthday.

      Also, has this caused discomfort to anyone's penis?
    • It works better for me as a solo toy. My husband is on the smaller side of average and he was able to fit inside of me with this comfortably, but I prefer smaller girthed things so this plus him was a little too much for me. I haven't revisited it in a while though.

      Is it bad to say I'm glad I'm not the only one? I think it's because the penis has a tendency to slide beside it rather than under it which makes it move around more. Still experimenting with it.

      it is not too big as it looks on pictures
    • It is really quite easy to insert. The motors are smaller than a penis, and it is really thin where the two motors connect.
