This is a fun little toy. It IS water-proof which is always a plus. However, the vibration seems to be weak, and it is a little hard getting your AAA batteries into it.Published: November 15, 2011

The Sex In Shower Waterproof Silicone Vibrator is a toy meant to be used in the shower; 100% waterproof! It is perfect for anyone whether you are a beginner or someone more advanced in the sex toy world that either likes low vibration or is really sensitive. If you know you like something with a STRONG vibration, look elsewhere. This isn't the toy for you. For me personally, I could barely feel the vibration.
When I first got the Sex in the Shower Waterproof Silicone Vibrator by Sportsheets, I was super excited to give it a try. I lost that excitement after it took me forever to get the batteries in.
When you unscrew the bottom piece you think this is where you'll find the battery holes. Wrong. There is a tiny piece of string which you pull... and pull... and pull again until the little white cap attached to it comes out. THIS is where they were hiding the battery holes! After you insert your batteries you have to get the little cap to sit a certain way for it to slide back down and cover the batteries. THEN you have to make sure the tiny string is sitting right so you can screw the bottom back onto the vibrator. This was a little too much to do. So after I was finished, I didn't feel like playing with it right away.
The Sex in the Shower Waterproof Vibrator is made of silicone and is very soft and smooth. It's pretty firm. There is some give to it, but it's not flexible or anything. There was no smell to it so that was a plus. The bottom half of the toy is a hard plastic with only 2 buttons to turn the toy on and off. It's a little awkward to hold if you are standing in the shower, however if you are just laying in the bath, it's a little easier.
The shape and size are good. The toy itself has an hourglass shape with the tip being on the large side. The length is about 8 1/2 inches, however you can only insert about 4 inches. The circumference: is 4 1/4 inches.
Being that the insertable part is silicone, it's really easy to clean. Silicone is smooth and not porous.
When it comes to which lubes to use ONLY use a water base lube!!
A little while later I decided to give it a whirl in the shower. And well.... I wasn't too impressed.
I thought maybe it just wasn't a good shower toy so I gave it another try a few days later and still wasn't too impressed. This toy has 10 different vibration patterns which would be AWESOME but the vibration is pretty weak. It's a good toy if you don't like overly strong toys but if you need something strong move on.

Putting the batteries in is too much work and the vibration just isn't that good. I wouldn't use this toy again.

So I've found that more and more I recognize the color scheme and patterning in sex toys that are not from the Lelo brand as imitating the Lelo brand.
I know that Lelo does not have a patent or anything on the scheme, but to all of us who are familiar with sex toys, it is recognizable. I know I sometimes wonder why they would do it. I mean, I guess they are drawing in some customers who subliminally associate the scheme with luxury and good craftsmanship, but in the end they are still associating that stuff with LELO. Why don't companies come up with their own scheme or look that is recognizable?

However, I am not sure what the retail will be for this one, yet. These are not rechargeable like LELO products. In fact, this one takes 2 AAA batteries. So, I even question the ability to be as powerful. I've requested it to try out. Guess we will see if it is close or not. ;)

I'm sure I will once I own one though.

I think a lot of folks are trying to raise their bar to be on the level as LELO as they seem to be coming out as the leading brand for quality and luxury. Maybe someone who thinks the Mona is too much, might like something like this better as it's battery powered and may not be as strong? (???)
I may not be as much help, and I do think that perhaps copying a color scheme is probably not a great idea, but if companies are aspiring to compete with the best (based on others' opinion), then that just translates to more toys for us!
