Good for beginners & worth every penny

For those of you worried about price, don't. From the second you open the box, which is like a gift box, you will appreciate how well it's made. It is by far the most "high tech" vibe I have, and it does live up to its reputation of being very versatile.
I was also pleased to find that it was semi charged out of the box. Once fully charged (max time is 2 hours), I had no qualms with the vibration levels at all (I am used to my trusty Fun Factory vibe. This is much stronger) The charging mechanism is genius to me. It magnetically attaches to the control buttons. I can also say that it keeps its intensity. You won't have to worry about it konking out on you when you're in the middle of things. I would have to say it's on the louder side for me, but that may be just my personal preference. I agree with the other reviewers that said the top nub doesn't move very much, but I would imagine that this would make quite a difference for some ladies.
The only thing I would change is the control mechanism. The buttons are kind of hard to push, but since you are rocking and rolling with this part of the vibe, I guess it's better off that way. You have to scroll through each level of vibration before you can get to the different vibe patterns, which is odd to me...but maybe I'm working it wrong. Either way this was not a hindrance to the performance of the G-ki to me. I am new to g-spot vibes and bought this more for the double stimulation. I really felt that the intensity was uniform throughout the product as it was used. It worked wonders for me!

I'm not very well informed on the evolution of vibrators from old school to new school but turn dial straight vibes don't scream old school to me, they scream cheap! When I think of old school sex toys it's more Hitachi or traditional phallic dildos. Either way I think new school vibrators and toys are awesome just because the shapes and features are dictated by function, stimulation and performance. That's more exciting than a hyper-realistic replica of a penis... though that has its own appeal.

It makes this odd popping noise when you change the settings. Mine hasn't broken or anything, but I'm very careful when I change settings because the popping noise concerns me. I've never had it get stuck on a setting. It changes really easily.

I have both but there may be something wrong with my Mimi becuase, to me, it's incredibly weak and buzzy. The G-ki is definitely stronger and a little deeper..

I haven't made my Mimi review yet, but in my opinion it's a mix-breed between buzzy and rumbly. If I use it for too long of a period it's buzzy, but I tend to get off before that happens so I don't know. Your response was helpful stronger and deeper is good since I can adjust the settings to where I like. I'll have to see, but I think I'm leaning toward saving for it as my next big purchase.
