Good Gracious, You're a Squishy One!
The Gracious is a pure, soft, flexible silicone vibrator with a length and girth sure to please nearly every user. It has a unique, pleasing rectangular shape and a nice surface area that makes clitoral stimulation a joy. Slightly curved, it works well for penetration and g-spotting, though it may be a bit too flexible for some. This toy is powerful and versatile with it's seven vibrational functions.Published: August 17, 2009
Pros:
Waterproof, body safe, powerful, multiple functions, light up controls, dedicated on/off button.
Cons:
Picks up lint easily which shows immediately on the white silicone.
I was amazingly lucky enough to get two of the Petite Couture collection pieces recently. God bless descriptive reviews and sponsored reviews! I chose the Gracious due to it's unique shape; it's rectangular! I was intrigued the moment I saw it. How, exactly, would a squared off vibrator feel? It feels amazing.
The Gracious is seven inches long with a five inch insertable length. The diameter is a fairly slim 1.25 inches, making it an excellent choice for any level of user; not too thick, not too thin, it falls into that Goldilocks, "just right" range.
This "just right" vibrator is created from 100% medical grade Japanese silicone. The silicone is matte rather than silky, giving it exceptional drag and friction when in use. I love matte silicone as it feels much more realistic to me, much more like flesh against flesh than other materials.
This silicone is dense and heavy, thick feeling, yet still unbelievable squishy and soft. Because it's white, the first thing I thought was "Oh. It's like a marshmallow!" The tip, where the vibrator is located, is a bit more firm, making it easy to insert. It's also a little more firm at the base where the motor is located. But the rest of the rectangular shaft is pure, plush, squeezable softness.
Amazingly, despite the softness, the shaft is still firm with no flop or droop. The entire toy is squared off, though the edges are slightly rounded - which keeps it very comfortable even with rapid thrusting while still allowing you to enjoy it's unique shape. The best thing about the shape is the flat tip; with the actual vibrations centered there and the nice surface area, it makes for excellent clitoral stimulation.
The Gracious does work well for penetration and has a slight curve to it, aiding, along with the flexibility, in finding and pleasing the g-spot but it may be too soft for those who require a firm toy. Regardless, it's soft, squeezable density makes you feel pleasantly full and is really nice for clenching around.
The petite couture collection toys are powered by two AAA batteries that are easily inserted by twisting the battery cover and lifting it off. Plus and minus symbols make inserting them properly easy.
The toy is controlled by easy touch, light up push buttons; one for on/off and one to change the vibrations. The Gracious has three steady levels of vibration; low, medium, and high. It also has four patterned vibration levels; a low escalation, a medium pulsation, a rapid pulsation and a rapid pulsation followed by a steady buzz.
The power level is very, very good, especially considering it uses AAA batteries. I find it comparable with my full sized couture pieces, the LELO Liv or any of my Fun Factory toys. Vibration, while focused in the tip, travels the length of the toy very, very well.
Remember that silicone toys don't usually play well with silicone lubes; if you must use silicone lube, do a patch test first. Otherwise, stick to water-based.
The Gracious can be cleaned with soap and water - it's waterproof, with a clear o-ring sealing off the battery compartment - so the water won't hurt it. (It can also be used in the shower or bath) If you're sharing, sanitize by wiping with a ten percent bleach solution.

Follow-up commentary

Absolutely still loving the Gracious with it's marshmallowy goodness.
The only concern I had initially had was that the matte, white silicone would become grungy or dingy looking and I'm glad to say, a few months later, that it looks as good as new, despite numerous uses.
I'm also finding that batteries last a good long time in this one, which is always a plus.
I'd recommend them to anyone, any time.

Thank you for viewing Petite Couture Collection Gracious – vibrator review page!

This one looks like it has more of a curve compared to the Couture silhouette. Great review.
I'm not crazy about the color, but I do like this new line from Cal Exotics!
Minxy - it does have a decent curve, but not super pronounced
Sammi - see, I love white toys. mostly cuz they're different and you don't see all that many, I guess.
I think it's pretty...I have the Enchanted and the whole line seems to run about the same as far as quality (which is GREAT). Is this something you might be willing to buy...not the same one, but another from the same line?
What do you do to get the lint off if you want to use it then and there?
I love the squishiness...I really wanted to bite it when I got it because they're so soft!
I would definitely buy one. They're a super price for what you get, well worth it.
For lint, I keep wet wipes handy. Literally just plain old baby wipes or wet ones or something body friendly I can wipe it down with quick. I also keep them in a zipped bag (the devine satchel holds all my fun factory and couture toys) so they don't get overly linty.
I hear ya on the biting. I love a firm toy but squishy toys have their place, too, and these are amazing in their softness and flexibility.
I've seen a few reviews complain about the softness but I look at it like this; we need all sorts of toys. If they were all firm, there would be no variety and, for some of us, some days, squishy just rocks.
Glad you liked yours!
You call this a "powerful" toy, but only give it 2 bees, which to me doesn't signify a very powerful toy. Can you give me a little better idea of the intensity of the vibration?
Or you can ignore my previous comment because it is late and I confused bees with vrooms.
Wow, what a unique shape for a vibe...I just want to squeeze it and see what it feels like! Loved your descriptions
Thank you very much for the review!
Snazzy!
Great review! Thanks for all the insight -- I was worried about the color getting icky too, but I'm glad to hear that doesn't happen.
