The Nude Affair Tieback Babydoll & G-String set is a classy edition to any lingerie-lover's closet. From the time you open the door to surprise your partner, to running up the stairs as he/she chases you to bed - you're going to love this little babydoll! It needed a couple adjustments; but for a gal like me who is good with a needle and thread, it was a breeze and 100% worth it!





Size:


I purchased the 1X. I usually buy a medium/large when I shop at places like Victoria's Secret, Frederick's, or your local apparel store (JC Penney's, Kohl's, etc.). However, as far as the size measurements looked online, I am near the utmost of a L, causing me to buy a 1X, which is very similar. The cup sizes of this 1X are a C, just like the L. They could still fit a small D cup if you are small enough around (chest, minus the breasts). The rest of the babydoll is completely open, so it's going to look good on any woman, no matter how big the belly or the hips or whatever... it's made to look good on everyone!


Features:


The entire babydoll is covered in a beautiful rose print lace. It's see-through enough to have your partner drooling all over themselves, but doesn't reveal everything. This makes this outfit good for that "teasing" factor, but also good if you're trying to hide parts of your body that you don't really like.


There are adjustable straps that adjust all the way up, and all the way down, just like your regular bra. So this piece is definitely made to fit a wide range of women, and I totally respect that. I love it! I also love that if you adjust the straps, they stay in place very well. This piece has yet to fall apart or loosen up, and I've already washed it once!


There is underwire around the breast cups, that way your breasts at least stay above the breast line. I don't know if you've ever worn a babydoll with no underwire, and your breasts literally slip right down past the breast cup line... Well, that's me. So I'm extremely thankful for this. However, there is NO padding whatsoever, which wasn't a huge deal since I am quite the seamstress! I simply wore an "invisible bra" which is basically a stick-on bra as you can see below. But today, I'm actually going to sew breast support cups from old bras onto each breast cup to add support. This is something that anyone can do, but you can always take it to a professional seamstress and have them do it very cheap.





Here is a close up of the breast cup sections. As you can see, it's basically just laying against my hand with no real support.








The set also comes with this very pretty little thong. Backed by the same creme color, and covered in the same rose printed lace, it matches perfectly. However, it did not cover my vulva, so it looked a little weird. It's very thin, although it doesn't seem so. I just threw it in my panty drawer and I wear it as an everyday thong. It is very comfortable.




The "bra" area closes... Well, just like a bra! There are hook & eye closures, so it's just like wearing a bra (without that lift!) as you can see above. The lace literally extends throughout the entire piece except for the silky creme tiebacks. So once you close the hook & eyes, you then tie a bow with your creme colored tiebacks, and you're ready to make your partner drool!


Care:


This piece should be taken to the professional cleaners, and dry cleaned (maybe even starched, that's what I did and it looks a lot nicer). You could wash it by hand very carefully using some lingerie cleaner from Cacique or Frederick's. Most lingerie stores sell lingerie cleaner. If you can't find any, a very delicate soap that is safe for black clothing is perfect. Be gentle, and let it dry hanging on a hanger or over the edge of the tub. Do NOT throw this in a dryer or a washer machine under any circumstances. You could damage or shrink the material.

Overall I am 100% satisfied with this set. Yes, it has no lift, and yes, the thong didn't quite cover me up. However, it's the babydoll that matters most to me, and fixing the lift problem was a breeze. My hubby just about had a heart attack when we saw me wearing it, and all my insecurities about my body just drifted away when I wore this babydoll.


I love how it didn't totally fall apart at the dry cleaners, as several pieces have done so before. It also lasted through a pretty rough night of sex, so I have to give it props! It's a gorgeous, elegant, classy, and SEXY babydoll!

This is still just a gorgeous piece. Looks great on me, which is hard to come across because hardly anything ever looks great on me anymore. I plan on buying more of the Nude Affair sets because I love the design. Looks awesome with pale skin tones!
