Vanity Vr1 - egg discontinued by Jopen - review by Hummingbird

Want to know you are exercising your Kegals correctly? This is the sure fire way to find out.
This “toy” and here I use the term loosely because it is so much more. Consider it the same as weights at a gym or any other exercising equipment to tone certain muscle groups. That’s right, when properly inserted this "toy” does one thing other non-vibrating kegal exercisers are unable to. It vibrates when you are properly tightening your Kegals.

But don’t let this fool you, it is also a terrific toy too! It can be set in manual mode to continually vibrate at the intensity of your choice within your “Love Tunnel”. Talk about stimulating! Have the Vr1 vibrating internally while using your favorite clitoral stimulator, WOW!

And for those of you that are electro-stimulation shy, this is just for you. The Power Bullet vibrators are contained well surrounded by the Silicone material so all you feel is vibrations.

Jopen did it right with the Vr1, I’ve used Glass Eggs, Smart Balls and Luna Beads and while these are good in their own class, do not measure the intensity of your muscle contractions.

Made out of Silicone it is gives it a material safety rating of 10.

Properties
Silicone has a tight molecular structure and retains heat. Try to soak silicone toy (make sure it's waterproof) in the warm water before using it to get nice warm feeling. Silicone also repels dirt and bacteria and doesn't fall apart with extended friction.

Hygiene And Maintenance
Silicone is smooth and not porous. Silicone can be fully disinfected by boiling it for 3 minutes or by throwing it into the top rack of your dishwasher.

I’ve used the JO H2O Personal Lubricant and the TOKO Organica Formula made with pure vegetable glycerin both of which are one of the top 100 Water based lubricants rated on EF with 4 out of 5 stars. But my favorite is the Lelo Personal Moisturizer and you don't need much.

The design is ingenious, shaped similar to a ten pin bowling pin appeared strange at first but when used for Kegal exercising makes sense. The 1 3/4” oblong length of the longest bulb provides the correct dimensions needed to tighten my muscles against, anything smaller would easily slip either out or in.

Along with the oblong ball there is a 1” smaller round ball which also vibrates with a 3/4” secure pliable thin neck connecting the two and a 3” long double ‘rip cord’ for easy retrieval. The ‘rip cord’ is also securely connected to the Vr1 and I have no doubt at all that it would not disconnect.

There are two controls, one small touch button for on/off and mode lock operations and is located near the end of the rip cord.

It was a bit challenging when first using the Vr1, while turning it on was easy, using the single button to lock it into manual mode and shutting it off was a whole new experience. I have to laugh remembering the first time I tried to shut if off to clean it, and I’m a computer geek. This was more than simple, just press and hold the button for 4-5 seconds until it the bright light stays lit and the device continues to vibrate. Release button and it’s off! It’s that simple.

The other control is also on the oblong ball, one on each side that are pressure sensitive. I've discovered on my Vr1 that the button is near the end where the rip cord meets the Vr1. The pressure sensitive area located under the silicone skin can be easily found perpendicular to the button in the middle of the oblong ball.

Another plus about the Vr1 is that its rechargeable, yeah, no spending additional hard earned bucks on batteries.

Cleaning is a breeze, I run hot only water in my sink with anti-bacterial soap and let it soak for about 15 minutes. After soaking, I scrub the external surface with more anti-bacterial soap just as though I was washing my hands. Rinse thouroughly and lay on a paper towel to dry completely before storing away. I also like to use the Eden cleaning wipes on my toys and they work well on the Vr1.

The nicest part about cleaning this toy is the smooth rounded surface. There are no cracks or crevices and because it waterproof can be boiled in hot water to sterilize so this would be a shareable toy. Though I’m a little shellfish here and only share my toys with my life partner and husband.

The charging port hole in the Vr1 is at the end of the oblong bulb/ball between each end of the 'rip cord'. I've already charged, washed and recharged and have no difficulty at all with the electrical input proving that the Vr1 is in fact waterproof.

The white cardboard box is simple but attractive with the words VANITY by JOPEN Vr1 with the purple Jopen logo check mark. Unless you were familiar with the product line, there would be no way you would know what this box contained. There are no erotic pictures or words indicating this is even a vibrating device making it a great gift item.

the manual displaying other Jopen Products as well as Operating Instructions
And a opaque white plastic card with purple lettering listing all the features

Of course when EF sends your delivery to you it's always in an unmarked brown cardboard box.

I like to use this ‘toy’ not only for my Kegals but for much pleasure especially on manual consistent vibrating mode. The Vr1 is versatile in that it will pleasure all your erogenous zones. I’ve used it to stimulate my nipples, clitoris and inner sanctum, or as my husband likes to call it, my “Love Tunnel.”

I only use a little personal lubricant to insert, too much and it would easily slip while performing kegal exercises. Perhaps when my Kegals are stronger I will be able to walk around the house with them in but right now that's just a little difficult. That will have to be in my follow-up review, proof that you can at least walk around the house with them in.

They are great to leave in and sit while watching TV, the vibration sound is so low there would be no problem hearing voices talk or a radio playing music. Though, I'd don't think I'd wear them out of the house.

I’ve had the Vr 1 for two weeks and have used it not only for exercising, but as warm up stimulation for either penetrative sex or the main event solo. I found this a great stimulator prior to a G-spot O.

This is my first set of vibrating kegal exercisers and so far I'm impressed, matter of fact, after this review guess where I'm heading?
