Great first vibe for beginners, discreet and quiet
The Layaspot is an exceptional beginner vibe if you're not sure what you think about vibrators and want to try them, or if you are particularly sensitive want something gentler than normal. It's definitely worth purchasing if that's what you're looking for, and I highly recommend it!Published: November 30, 2011
Pros:
Great beginner vibe, quiet, easy to use/clean
Cons:
Packaging isn't very discreet

I still like the LAYAspot, but I find that I'm not using toys as much at the moment. Much of that probably has to do with my relationship status, but even with that aside, I'm just not that into vibrators as a whole, so it's not getting as much use as it potentially could.
In general, though, it's still an excellent toy and it still works perfectly several years later from the time I bought it. It's high quality, and well worth the investment if you're a beginner.

Do people think this is better or even comparable to the Nea or Bswish's Bcurious?

Quote: Do people think this is better or even comparable to the Nea or Bswish's Bcurious?not sure but we have the Laya and the better than chocolate ( the music ed) both have their good points, but the laya is a little smaller and compact. Both were really well tho and the music seting is fun feature!

waiting and wanting!
-
RadRachSo my partner and i decided to check out this site and order a bunch of new items. I just ordered the LAYAspot and it should be here friday! Ehh i cant wait! How does everyone feel about this cute toy? -
reading the MANY many reviews on the toy will give you a good idea about the overall feelings and consensus of the toys.

it's nice that there are so many user submitted reviews on this site. it's so hard to choose a toy, especially an expensive one, with only the manufacturer description.

LayaSpot Questions
-
So, I just posted a review of this toy on my blog and and am rereading some reviews here. I am seeing some discrepencies and have a few questions for you.
Some reviewers state that this is a waterproof toy but my instructions clearly state that it is only splashproof. Perhaps the instructions have changed? Maybe Fun Factory decided it wasn't really waterproof? If you have this toy, what did your instructions say?
Furthermore, a few people said that they received silicone based BodyFluid with their LayaSpot but I received their water based lube and, again, my instructions said not to use silicone based lube (I believe, can't find them).
Also, I think it's just me but my Layaspot pretty much smelled god awful when I got it. Anyone else?
Just looking for different experiences with these things.. -

I am seeing some discrepencies and have a few questions for you.I've heard that fun factory toys can stink to high heaven, and I have no idea why they would because they're supposed to be 100% silicone. I have other silicone toys and they don't smell at all. Maybe it's not the toy itself but the packaging that surrounds it? Sorry I'm not much help, but the smell that people talk about with FF toys is enough for me to be wary of buying one.

I am seeing some discrepencies and have a few questions for you.I have since pitched my instructions, but I think mine said splashproof rather than waterproof. I got the Toyfluid (water-based) lube, and mine was smell-free! All of my FF toys have been totally odorless, actually.

Thank you for viewing LAYAspot – clitoral vibrator review page!

Great review! I'm glad the LAYAspot works so well for you...mine wasn't quite up to getting me off, but it made a great teasing toy.
I love the looks of this and all the color options, but I don't think it would be strong enough for me.
Thanks for the review!
Fantastic review! I've been eyeing this fun little vibe for awhile but if it isn't powerful I'm afraid it's not for me. Clit-o-steel Hitachi girl here
thanks for the review!
Thanks everyone for your encouragement and feeback!
@NarcissisticLust - You're right that the Layaspot is not for those that want or need stronger vibes. I haven't tried a Hitachi, but from all the research I've done and reviews I've read, it seems way too intense for my body. Different strokes, different folks.
Dang it...I meant *feedback.*
Thanks for the great review! How would you say the vibrations range? Are they more toward rumbly or something in between? You mentioned they weren't too terribly buzzy. Just curious. I love the details in your review.
Hmm...that's a tough question because one woman's rumbly is another's buzzy and it's all very subjective. When I think of buzzy, I'm also talking about the noise level, so to me this is a quiet toy. Given the two adjectives rumbly and buzzy, though, I'd say it's closer to rumbly. I think fresh batteries makes it more on the buzzy side too. Hope that helps!
I rather like that you linked to the material guide to explain more about it! Thankyou for the review, it was great. :3
Thanks for the review
Thanks for the review!
Thanks a bunch!
Thanks for talking so much about the vibrations in particular.
I'm a beginner, so I'm happy it gets your seal of approval for newbies like me! I feel more confident in my purchase now after this helpful review. thanks!
Thanks for the review!
Thanks for the review. I like the size and shape, wish it had more power.
