Great glass vibe with texture
This is a great addition to any toy collection. Glass toys are easy to clean and can be used with any lube, so they are very versatile. This one adds two types of texture and a vibe with enough power to increase stimulation in a way that other glass dildos cannot.Published: April 7, 2011

When my SO showed me this vibe, I was surprised that it was glass. The nobby head is good for clitoral stimulation or hitting the G-spot, and the spiral grooves around the shaft provide increased stimulation while it is moved in and out of her.
The glass is smooth and non-porous, and any lube can be used with it. Cleanup is easy since this is water resistant/proof. She also has a non-vibrating glass dildo with large bumps that she prefers, but this a close second with the addition of the vibration. It is simple to operate as the vibe is turned on with a simple push of the single button at the bottom. Although simple to use, we do have one small gripe. Our one wish is that the bottom would have a larger base or a non-slip surface so it is easier to hold on to. It becomes a little slick when lube is used, and if one is not careful, it could slide all the way into the vagina and need to be extracted. Although this did not happen to us, it seems to be an issue that some may experience.
The length and girth seem to fit my SO well, but some may find it a little narrow. For most who prefer a wider toy, the textures and vibration should make up for this, however. We have used this twice now and plan to incorporate it more in the future...possibly even trying it for anal fun but not inserting it as far due to the smooth base issue mentioned above.
This is packaged in clear plastic with a nice padded pouch inside to keep it safe and ready for use when she wants it. Just add your favorite lube, and you have a compact, multi-purpose vibe that can be used solo or by couples.

This is my first toy, let alone glass toy. What are the advantages and disadvantages of other materials? Did I pick a weird starting place? I do like it, but it didn't rock my world so to speak.

I have that toy, and it's actually good quality. If you like glass toys, then it's a really nice one. The end has textured nubs that are definitely felt. For me it was too much texture, but some people might enjoy that. I think it's a really nice toy.
