I looked at a lot of reviews around the net before I bought this item. In the end it didn't come down to the reviews it came down to the concept. Something that could simulate sucking on my clit, I'm there.

When I received the Happy Kitty, I did the first thing I always do,put in the batteries and turn it on. Aside from the flashing light on the power button I didn't know this was on. I had to put my finger on the hole to make sure. The pink silicone part that moved it very soft to the touch. I didn't notice any strong smells and it had no taste (yes, I tested it on my tongue too). The package included the Happy Kitty, a storage bag for it and a few wipes for clean up.

The device has 3 patterns, each with multiple speeds. The device is light and compact, making it perfect for travel. It is also whisper quiet, again making it perfect for travel or when there is someone in the next room and you don't want your toy to scream “hey I'm masturbating in here!”

The first time I tried it on my clit, I expected something that would simulate a sucking feeling. I didn't get that. The actual part of the toy that moves is too small to get over the clit. Instead there was a sort of pumping feeling on the end of my clit where the toy was tapping it with it's in and out movements. While it wasn't unpleasant, I wasn't thrilled.

I tried it again a few days later. This time, I wasn't expecting fireworks, just some light teasing. For this, it worked. I found that positioning it while I was sitting worked better than lying down. A little water based lube (The pink part is made of silicone and silicone based lube is not recommended) on the hole aided in getting the it positioned just right over my clit. Putting it on the highest speed helps too. It didn't get me off but it did get me wet enough to finish with my favorite dildo.

Due to the size of the hole, clean-up initially posed a problem. While I refer to it as a “hole”, it is fully enclosed so there is no need to worry about lube or juices getting lost inside it. With some quick thinking, I decided to use a q-tip soaked in some antibacterial toy cleaner. This worked to clean out the hole, and the rest could be rubbed down with the same cleaner and rinsed under water (the description says waterproof). The Happy Kitty comes with some cleaning wipes but I didn't think they would do an adequate job of cleaning out the hole and without knowing what ingredients were used in the wipes (none were listed), I wasn't about to risk anything.

If you require strong vibes for clitoral stimulation this isn't for you. If you want something more mellow and light or if you are like me and can't handle the strong vibes, this might work for you. I still wish it had more power though. It won't get you to a screaming orgasm anytime fast, or slowly for that matter, but it wasn't an unpleasant experience. I would have preferred a slightly bigger hole so that it would fit around my clit instead of just on the top. I still enjoy using it periodically. Especially when the need to be quiet is important.
