Harcore workout without breaking a sweat.
The Emigi has and size, shape and weight that can be used by just about anyone who is female bodied. It's not going to make you have a vagina of steel overnight, but with regular use you will notice a difference in not time.Published: October 20, 2010
Pros:
Great size, nice weight, anti-microbial.
Cons:
String can be a little irritating at times.
The Emigi is my first vaginal exerciser. I wasn't really sure what to expect. I have a toddler, and just like any woman who has experienced the joys of vaginal child birth, I was left with weakened pelvic floor. I have been working on improving the strength of my muscles for some time now, but I decided that I wanted to take my internal workout to the next level so I ordered the Emigi.
The Emigi comes in a tiny little clear plastic package that looks almost like a paper bag with a folded down top. It's wide and open at the bottom and gets thinner as it goes up, and comes to a point at the top. Once you get the Emigi out, it's got kind of a peanut shape to it. It has a little bit of weight to it, and the material feels almost like one of those big pink erasers that you used in elementary school.
It's made of a bio-compatible elastomer that has an anti-microbial additive. Making it a product that is non-toxic, body safe and easy to clean. It's very slightly squishy and a bit velvety, but feels more rubbery than like silicone.
There are two smaller balls inside the main outside casing that roll around when you move the Emigi around. It took me a couple times to get used to the movement of the internal balls. It's not that they are flying around every time you move, but if you are sitting, driving or standing still the Emigi is pretty still, and when you get up or start moving again the movement starts. Sometimes I sort of forget that I am wearing them and then the movement reminds me. It also reminds my body. The movement contracts the vaginal muscles, giving a great exercise. The sound of the internal balls rolling around isn't very loud outside your body, and definitely cannot be heard while wearing them. It's not going to be as if you are walking around with jingle bells.
The Emigi looks like a giant Tylenol on a string. To me, the two toned color scheme looks like a pill capsule. The weighted capsule is 2 3/4 inches long and has a 3 3/4 inch circumference, a size that should be good for just about anyone. The pull string that is attached to the Emigi is just a hair under 4 inches long. That is a bit of over kill, I think. The string is also pretty firm and I have a hard time wearing the Emigi with the string hanging down. I usually turn it upside down and insert it, that way there is a small 3/4 inch string that I can easily grab to remove the exerciser, and the string is short enough it doesn't irritate the vaginal opening. You could just as easily trim the string down to the length you prefer.
Cleanup is easy with the Emigi. Anti-bacterial soap or toy cleaner and rinse with warm water. If I am wearing the Emigi out of the house I take a couple fresh wipes in a Ziploc baggy along with me. That way if I need to remove the Emigi I have a baggy to store it until I get home, and if I need to remove it and reinsert it I have a wipe for a quick cleanup until I can wash it properly at home.
Water and Silicone based lubes can be used with this product.

Experience
I enjoy using the Emigi, I can tell a difference in my muscle strength since I started using it. It's not an overnight miracle worker, but my goal to strengthen my pc muscles and keep them strong and healthy. The last thing I want while battling menopause is to pee on myself when I sneeze. :)

Do you get cramps with Emigi?
-
I've noticed that when I use the Emigi kegel exerciser, I have very mild cramps. Gas anyone else noticed this, or am I just crazy?

Kegel exercisers
-
Which is the best kegel exerciser? I've read good things about the sinfive emigi and luna pleasure beads and hte ami system. I would like some opinions on hte best one. I've had two children vaginally so it's probably about time I start toning things up.
-
As a male I find the Pure Plug anal toys from Njoy to be good for doing kegels. I suppose if you were a woman you could do a DP kegel routine!(nerd)
-
The Emigi seems like a great way to start! I really like my Loa, but they're kind of large! The Ami seems like the best (but is a bit pricey) because you get 3 and can steadily increase the difficulty!

Why is it only safety rating 8?
-
The material section says that it is non porous, phthalates free, and anti-bacterial, so why is the safety rating only an 8? I bought this and the g-ki for my birthday and they are arriving today, but I just became worried that I might have a yeast infection or something. I'm so disappointed that I might have to wait to use my new toys, but I don't think it is safe to use them if I have one, right? I don't want to contaminate my toys?

You can't boil it! Toys that you can boil get a higher safety rating!

Am I using Emigi right?
-
I just got this and I've used it for a couple of days. I feel nothing. Absolutely nothing when it's in me. The only time I do is when I have it placed closer to my vaginal opening and the feeling isn't pleasurable and the thing slips out. How far in is this toy supposed to go? And am I supposed to feel it or is it still going to work if I don't?

And am I supposed to feel it or is it still going to work if I don't?I believe it sits right inside - I tried it closer to my opening too but it was mighty uncomfy. I felt the exact same as you. Emigi does NOTHING for me. It's like I'm not even using it. In my opinion, it's useless. But a lot of people love it.
It was my first kegel toy and I was disappointed.
But then I bought the Lelo Luna Beads which are pricey but SOOOOOOO worth it.
Any slight movement and you will feel the internal balls moving with ease! They are fabulous (inlove)
I find the girdle is too long for me so I just use one of the balls inserted on it's own. I cut the string off mine cause I find them easy to push out using ya muscles. One day I must try inserting 2 balls, but I'm not sure there's enough room to have both in, for me.
If you want to feel the internal balls moving around, I highly suggest Luna Beads! I LOVE mine. -

I've never had anything bigger than 4 inches in circumference in me so that's my limit.

If I put Emigi in and gently pull on the string to get it to move a little more down, I can feel some pressure and it feels pretty good. It also doesn't fall out unless the tail end is further towards my vaginal opening.
I don't know if it's all because I'm too loose or my muscles are too weak, but I am hoping that with a little more practice, I will get this thing to work.

SinFive Emigi Kegel Improvements
-
So I was ready another review of the SinFive Emigi and am thinking of getting this for my wife. Obviously the purpose of it is to strengthen your kegels so I thought it might be good to make an area where those that have used it can post back about how it has or hasn't helped them.

I dont feel like a beginner,..but I guess I am because it can slip out on me on occasion,...so I guess I have kegel work to do,..... but two 9 lbs babies will do that ;-) Feels good, comfortable

WTP or Elastomer?
-
I sat down this evening and wanted to write a review of my Emigi, and started to read carefully the instructions, where it said it was made of elastomer. However, in the product description, it says it is made of WTP, which a type of thermoplastic.
I can only see Sinfive products that fall in that material category, and I was wondering if it called WTP by Edenfantasys because it has those antimicrobial properties and received a bonus point in the material safety scale (8 for WTP, and 7 for Elastomer)? I'm asking because some of you know that I write product sheet about materials on my blog, and I'm not to sure how to deal with that material. It looks like I could include a note about WTP in a main page about 'Elastomer', but I'd like to make sure i would be correct. However, I can't find what it stands for, and if anyone knew, it would really be helpful. -
I'm not sure... but I would try contacting the manufacturer. Furthermore, I would always go with the information provided with the toy rather than on a website where someone might input the wrong info.
-
oh... I just realized what WTP was.... What The Pfuck!? Okay, that was lame, but I crack myself up.

It Looks So Cute And Tiny!
-
I can't help it, i want one. But... only 1 review? Will there be more? Who has one? I'm just kinda disappointed there's no blue one. The pictures make the purple one seem dark, but others have shown it to be lighter and more blueish. Anyone have the plum one and can tell for sure what it looks like?
I also like the fact it's small and less intimidating than smart balls, which I have always debated getting. For a decent price and a small compact shape, I might have to get these and see what all this kegal exercising is all about. :P
Anyone else gonna pick one of these little peanuts up? :P (It looks like a peanut to me, lol.) -

I'm hoping to review it eventually! Darn only-one-a-month thingy and being broke!

Thank you for viewing SinFive Emigi – sex toy for women review page!

I have some wipes from "always" brand when I wear my smartballs out, so my balls are not all gooey when I put them back in their pouch, lol. Great review, I think you made a good choice to go with the Emigi.
Great review! I'm going to have to try these.
