Waterproof turbo glider blueberry bliss - traditional vibrator by Cal Exotics - review by Airen Wolf

Every toybox should have a powerful traditional hard plastic vibrator. With this in mind I highly recommend the Turbo Glider Blueberry Bliss by Cal Exotics.

The Turbo Blueberry lives up to it's name! This is one powerful hombre with vibrations powerful enough to please all but the most insensitive clits-o-steel. It is dial based with means if you are a bit more on the sensitive side, you can adjust the vibrational intensity. This isn't a terribly quiet toy but it also isn't jack hammer loud. You can clearly hear it under covers and it can be heard outside a bedroom door. It's also completely waterproof and won't make a horrible racket in the shower or bathtub but it isn't exactly quiet either.


One neat feature is the toy is a lovely shade of blue and is made of see through plastic! You can clearly see the inner workings of the toy. It gives an odd translucent quality to the fairly graceful curves. For a hard plastic traditional vibrator it is actually very lovely! The Turbo Glider measures in at 7inches in total length with about 5.25 inches to 6 inches being insertable depending on how you hold the toy. It is approximately 3.50 inches around it's largest bulge. The toy has a smallish round tip that tapers before bulging outward again in a tear drop shape. This teardrop then tapers before bulging out again into a more round shape. The shaft of the toy is straight for several inches before dipping in briefly before the twist off cap to the battery housing. The color is gorgeous throughout the entire toy even on the dial!


The vibrations are felt most easily in the head of the toy but they do carry down the shaft of the toy. The nice thing is the vibrations don't carry vigorously enough to buzz your hand into numbness. The vibe starts at a medium strength buzz that is very surface and moves quite rapidly into a fast and strong buzz that is still very surface. It sounds a bit like a small appliance at full speed.

I've found that my clit prefers somewhere in the middle of the strength and that the highest speed can either cause a quicker orgasm that isn't as satisfying or it can cause me to go numb. When inserted the vibrations can be easily felt, again at the head of the toy it is strongest. The head of the toy isn't angled at all so it might not work for those users that need an angle to reach their G-spot. If your spot is more easily found, and manipulated, then the round ball at the head of the toy can apply some pretty intense pressure since it has no give. I have found it is pretty amazing for describing small circles around and over my G-spot.

The rounded tip allows a bit more vigorous thrusting than I would normally recommend with a hard plastic toy. Still, this is a long toy which means it could do some damage if you or your partner were to get overly rough.


The Turbo Glider takes 2 AA batteries that are not included with the toy. They are easy to install but the cap can be hard to reattach to the battery housing. There is a white plastic O ring attached to the toy to prevent water leakage into the housing and as far as I have been able to determine it does a bag up job. With splashing or full immersion I haven't noticed any sign of leakage. The toy is hard plastic which makes it pretty darn non-porous though I would still use a condom over the toy if you plan to share it.

It can be washed in hot water and mild soap or you could use a commercial toy cleaner. You could also wipe it down with a 10% bleach and water solution or rubbing alcohol.

It arrives in a plastic baggy, which is very eco-friendly as it's recyclable, but doesn't offer much in terms of storage potential. You can store the Blueberry Glider in a dresser drawer, bedside table drawer or even in your pillowcase! It's not likely to react with any toys if stored next to them, but I would recommend storing softer toys some way that keeps them separated, just in case.


This toy doesn't offer a flared base for safe anal insertion. I would recommend looking for a toy that is built for anal play rather than using this one.

I didn't expect much from this little guy but I was surprised at the strength of the vibrations. This is a toy I don't mind recommending to new toy users as it is good quality materials and inexpensive to boot!

Despite this being a fairly inexpensive toy it still has a prominent place in my toybox. The curves and bulges offered by the head of the toy are fun to play with and the motor is very strong.
I find it doesn't guzzle batteries and the power diminishes noticeably rather than tapering down, which I prefer because too many times in the past I have thought a toy motor was dying when it was simply a half drained battery causing the issue.
For a great toy staple you really can't beat the Blueberry!
