I had heard a lot about Smart Balls and was curious to try them out. Smart balls are meant to be inserted in the vagina, and provide a form of “exercise” for vaginal muscles. They arrived nicely packaged, and I loved the color combination (I chose raspberry and pistachio). Smart balls come in 10 different color combos to suit anyone.

The balls are connected, and have a pull loop as well. The outer cover is made of Elastomed, which has a soft, sensuous feel to it. It is phthalate free, and is non-porous and odorless. Elastomed toys cannot be boiled, but can be easily cleaned with an antibacterial soap and water. Both water and silicone-based lubes can be used. Inside each ball is a weight, which moves around in the ball to create a vibration sensation when you move. The weights aren’t really heavy – the toy weighs under 5 ounces – but that’s enough to create the sensations.

The balls are about 2” long each, connected by a thin piece of the outer elastomed material. Each ball is approximately 1 3/8” in diameter. A sample of lube was included with the balls, but I chose to use a bit of my favorite, KY. I washed the balls first, then applied some lubricant and inserted them. I had no problems putting them in, although it was a bit strange at first. I found it easiest to stand with one leg up on a chair while I pushed them in. The pull loop hung out just enough, and was not uncomfortable.

I got dressed and started my first experience wearing these around the house. They didn’t do much for me sitting down, but what an interesting feeling going up and down the stairs! The vibration is hard to describe, but it felt wonderful inside. The balls wanted to slip out a bit after a while, and this is where the exercise function comes in. Using your vaginal muscles to squeeze the balls in and hold them in place is supposed to strengthen them. I managed to wear the balls for about an hour the first time, and I enjoyed the feeling. They managed to make me incredibly horny and ready for sex when my husband came home.

Although I’m not brave enough to wear these out in public, it could be done discreetly, and would probably enhance your sexual feelings. This is definitely a wonderful item!

I’ve had the smart balls for over 6 months now, and I love them! I use them several times a week, and usually wear them now for two to three hours. I’ve even worn them out several times. It gets my husband pretty hot and bothered knowing I’m wearing them while buying groceries. It gets me pretty hot and bothered too, I’ll admit. The rocking motion when I move is just so wonderful!

I am able to hold the balls in with no problem, and can even use the bathroom without them slipping down or out. I even ordered a second pair (in grey and honeydew melon), so I have a pair conveniently located in the house when I want to use them. Definitely a toy I’m glad I got!
