Pure wand - anal probe by Njoy - review by puppylove

The Pure Wand, one of those toys that everybody should own, and based on the number of positive reviews that this thing has a lot of people do! When you start collecting sex toys you had better make sure you add a few nJoy products to your toy chest, and the Pure Wand is the one that everybody seems to recommend. After trying the Fun Wand by nJoy and absolutely loving it, I just had to get my hands on Fun Wand's big brother, the Pure Wand. Three pounds of beautiful stainless steel, the Pure Wand can be used by just about everyone, females can enjoy amazing G-spot stimulation from the Pure Wand, males can enjoy P-spot stimulation, either sex can use it as a massager or anal toy. Care must be taken when playing with the Pure either by yourself or with a partner as not only is it heavy but it is also very hard and too enthusiastic playing could cause bruising to delicate tissues. Because it is made from stainless steel it is non-porous, body safe, and great for temperature play!

The Pure Wand by nJoy is made from stainless steel which rates a perfect 10 on the Eden Fantasys' safety scale. The steel that nJoy uses is medical grade and is latex free, non-porous, phthalates free, and will never corrode or degrade. Because it is steel it is very hard, there is no bend or squish to the Pure Wand, it is also quite heavy. Stainless steel is a great option for temperature play, you can warm it up under some hot water, or cool it down by running it under cold water, the steel will retain the desired temperature very well. The Pure Wand is polish to a perfect shinny mirror finish, there is not texture to the Pure Wand other than the two heads at either end of the wand.

The Pure Wand has a crescent shape to it, it reminds me of a steel boomerang. There are two heads at each end of the Pure Wand, one being larger than the other. Along the curve the Pure Wand is 11 inches long overall. The smaller of the two heads is 1 inch in diameter, the shaft of the wand is about 3/4 of an inch right under the head and very gradually decreases in diameter until you get to the middle of the crescent where it starts to gradually increase in size as it get closer the the second head of the wand.

The second head is 1.5 inches in diameter with the shaft of the wand being about an inch in diameter right under the head.

The Pure Wand weighs in at 3 pounds. The Pure Wand is not realistic in shape, while I wouldn't recommend leaving it out and trying to pass it off as a paper weight, any one who is not familiar with the world of adult toys will probably not be able to guess what it is right off the bat should they stumble across it.

The curve of Pure Wand's shaft makes it excellent for really getting leverage on your G-spot when used for vaginal penetration. Users also have two size options when playing, the smaller end should be a size that users of all experience levels should feel comfortable using, while the larger end is good for really getting a full feeling. I find that the curve makes it easy to gently rock the Pure Wand against the G-spot, heavy thrusting is not really needed with this toy. Because of the weight of the wand I find that my arms start to get tired when playing with the Pure Wand for any extended period of time.

I have not used the Pure Wand anally yet, the pure size and weight of the toy has me too intimidated at the moment, but I can imagine that for those who enjoy anal play with hard and heavy objects might really enjoy the Pure Wand as well. For men the Pure Wand has enough of a curve that it should make an excellent toy for prostate massage.

The Pure Wand can also be used for body massage with your partner or by yourself. I find that the muscles on the back side of my neck and between my shoulder blades get really tense and tight, I can grip the pure wand with one hand and drape it over my shoulder and give myself a really nice massage along those muscles.

As there are no electrical parts or motors the Pure Wand is perfectly waterproof for fun where ever you choose to play. Also there is no need to worry about having batteries or being charged up for play time.

Pure Wand is easy to clean and sanitize. For cleaning you have a variety of options including boiling, running through the dish washer, a toy wipe, or cleaning with good 'ol warm water and anti-bacterial soap. As stainless steel is non-porous with proper cleaning the Pure Wand can be safely shared between users. When cleaning the Pure Wand you will want to stay away from any abrasive cleaners or cleaning agents as they could damage or scratch the mirror finish on the Pure Wand. After cleaning once the Pure Wand is dry a good wipe down with a lint free cloth will return the mirror-like brilliant shine to the toy. As a bonus the Pure Wand is also compatible with any type of lube you wish to use. When it comes time to store your Pure Wand away between uses the box that nJoy packages the Pure Wand in makes for an excellent choice to protect the wand against any scratches or dings to its beautiful finish in storage.

The packaging the nJoy uses reminds me of high end jewelry boxes. There is an outer thin cardboard sleeve that goes over the inner box during shipping, which helps keep the inner box from coming open in transit. This outer sleeve is white in color, and has the brand name nJoy on it as well as the slogan "pure/fun" printed on the front. There is also a small pink sticker that has the toy's name and silhouette on it. All of this is very small and fairly discreet. You can always trash this out sleeve for storage or gift giving. The inner box is a heavy, hinged, black cardboard box. It also has the name nJoy and the "pure/fun" slogan printed on the outside in silver letters. However I find that it is still very discreet. Inside of the box the Pure Wand is sitting in a bed of pink satin. I find that the box makes an excellent storage option for the Pure Wand, it is so elegant.

After I had such a good experience with the Fun Wand, Pure Wands little brother, I just had to get the Pure Wand. The Pure Wand has been absolutely fantastic, I can't say that I like it more or less than the Fun Wand because they are both completely different experiences for me. The Fun Wand is about a pound lighter so I find I can play with it a bit longer than I can the Pure Wand before my arm starts getting too tired. The Fun Wand is easier for me to use anally with its triple bulged end, and I really enjoy being able to use it this way, I am still a little too intimidated to use the Pure Wand anally. The Pure Wand is better for G-spot stimulation as I get a more filling experience and more pressure on my G-spot with the Pure Wand. Another difference between the two; Pure Wand's heads are somewhat blunt and circular where the Fun Wand is tapered to a point. Here are some pictures of the two side by side for you to see.
