Here You Are!
While the Voila may not make you shout “Voila!”, it will suit your purposes if you like low to moderate vibrations and a variety of vibration patterns. It charges fairly quickly and holds its charge for a decent amount of time. Its small size makes it ideal for traveling, and it’s waterproof for use in the shower or bath.Published: June 15, 2010
Pros:
Small, rechargeable, holds a charge a long time, waterproof.
Cons:
Vibration intensity not as strong as I'd like.
I enjoy clitoral vibrators more than any other kind, mostly because it’s the easiest way for me to get off. While I’ve got some powerhouses in my bedside arsenal, I’m always on the lookout for something new and satisfying, and the Voila looked like a fun one to try.
The Voila comes in a lidded cardboard box, with an actual size picture on the front and product information on the back. Inside the box is the Voila and a slim line plug adapter with a generous 59” cord for charging.
This clitoral vibrator is shaped like an old style mouse, and it’s about the size of a small, portable one. It also reminds me of the arched windows you see in old churches with its pointed top and wider base. It comes in 3 colors, and I chose the pink one. It’s a nice shade, neither too bright nor too pale.
The Voila is covered in velvet cote, so it’s smooth and velvety to the touch, with just the smallest bit of drag. It’s just 3” long and 1 1/2" wide at its base, tapering up to its tip, and about 1/2" thick overall, so it’s ideal for traveling and won’t take up much room in your suitcase. A noticeable seam runs around the sides, but while it can be seen it isn’t felt during use. A small nub is on the underside if the small-tipped end. This nub, just 1/8” high, is for more pressure on the clitoris during use. Nothing is squishy about the Voila – the whole thing is hard and firm.
A small jack hole is on the wide end and has a clear flip cover to keep the jack hole dry if the Voila is used in the shower or bath. You’ll want to make sure that the flip cover is securely pressed over the hole so water doesn’t get in. If it does, make sure to blow it out and dry it completely before plugging the Voila back in to charge.
The Voila has a charging time of about 3 hours. An indicator light on the adaptor changes from red to green, letting you know the Voila is ready for use (it can’t be used while it’s charging). It will run for about 3 1/2 hours on one charge. If the Voila stops working, it may be close to the end of its charge.
The Voila has 2 buttons on its front. The “Square” button is the on/off button, while the “F” button cycles through the functions. The buttons are clear and almost impossible to read, but once you use it you’ll figure out that the button on the left (with the narrow end up) is the on/off and the one on the right is for the functions.
This vibrator has 7 functions (6 that are unique):
- low, steady vibration
- medium, steady vibration
- high, steady vibration
- low and rumbly, increasing to medium and rumbly, then back down to low and off briefly before repeating
- medium pulse pattern
- 4 short pulses followed by 1 long pulse
- high, steady vibration
Most of the vibrations are surface and buzzy vibrations, with the exception of the 4th, which has more of a rumble to it. The Voila is also pretty quiet, even on its high speed.
Since it’s made of plastic, the Voila is non-porous and phthalates free, and both water-based and silicone lubricants are safe to use if necessary. It can be cleaned with antibacterial soap and warm water or your favorite toy cleaner and patted dry. Take care to make sure the cover is over the jack hole while cleaning. When storing the Voila, don’t wrap the cord around its body.

Experience
Did this one do the trick? For me, not quite. Even on high I didn’t find the vibrations powerful enough to get me off easily. I did like the nub on the underside, but I think my clit has been spoiled by my other, stronger vibrators. This was fun as a teaser or warm up toy for me, but I found myself switching to something stronger as we got going. I did like how the high function repeated so I didn’t have to cycle through the patterns as much to get back to it or turn it off and on again to find it. It was easy to hold and position.
While I didn’t find this terribly strong, for my husband it was almost too much. Because it fits easily in my hand, I used this to tease him on his inner thighs and more sensitive areas. He liked the low and medium vibrations, as well as the roller coaster one, but the high was much too strong for him.
The jack plug did seem to keep the water out of the jack hole when we used this in the shower, and it was fun to run it over each other’s bodies as a massager.

Should I get Voila OR Legamento? they are both on sale
-
I've never owned a clitoral stimulator I want to know which of these is best...I do like to take my hand over my whole self and rub up and down to get off I like a hard surface covering myself I even like to do it on a chair corner, toilet seat, anyone else? perhaps this info makes a diffrence in which to get,not sure tho
-
I haven't tried the Legamento but I have tried the Voila, which is better than I thought it would be.
If you want something that's rechargeable I'd say go for the Voila, if that doesn't matter than read through all the reviews and see which flaws are commonly addressed for each and see which you can live with. That's how I usually decide.
The good thing with the Voila is it's much smaller and rechargeable, those were deciding factors for me. -

Voila - Can it get you there?
-
I've been thinking about purchasing the Voila because it fills most of my needs. Small, discreet, waterproof, supposedly quiet, and rechargeable-- having to put in/remove batteries can kill the mood for me at times.
The only thing I'm worried about is its power. It gets good reviews, but most reviewers seem to agree it's good for teasing with less mentions of orgasms.
I have a lot of trouble with orgasm and don't want to spend money on a toy that has shy hopes of helping me.
Not to get too personal, but anyone here own a Voila that feels it is a good climax toy? -
Have you read the reviews on it? Those are very helpful since they come from the community too.

I just got mine and was surprised at how powerful it was, especially for the size. I actually had really low expectations because of the reviews but it far surpassed them. I've had 2 orgasms while using it, though I was very aroused at the time which may be why.
Of course it's no Hitachi or Fairy Wand, but it *is* good. If you're someone that's sensitive and doesn't require the crazy power the Hitachi/Fairy puts out, then I'd say go for it. If you do, I'd say go for something else.

Quote: I got a question... What are the best personal vibrators.... Everyone please answer...I have to agree with TheWAHM, it depends on the person and the type of vibrator.
I have a favorite clitoral vibrator which is the Passion Bullets from California Exotics, and then my new favorite g-spot vibrator is Fonzie from Feelztoys.

Excellent review, thanks for sharing! This toy is cute, but definitely not strong enough for me.
