Hit it out of the park

Even though I am not a fan of water based lubes, I did fall in love with ID Pleasure Sensual Lubricant. It has to be one of the best water based lubes that I have ever used. It works just as well as my favorite silicone based lubes.

I have never been that big of a fan of water based lube. I keep trying them out to see if i can find one that I can fall in love with. I do find ones that I do like, but non that I have totally loved. My body tends to be a bit dry so i need lube, but the water based ones just don't seem to last as much as I would like. I usually have to reapply it a few times during a sex session. I have found a handful of them, that I can last with only one application, but those are few and far between.

I typically I am a fan of silicone based lubes and I hate oil based ones.

I don't know why I keep trying out the water based lubes. Maybe I'm just a glutton for punishment, but I do keep looking.

I gave ID Pleasure Sensual Lubricant a shot in hopes that this may finally be the water based lube to die for. It comes in a number of sized bottles: one ounce, two ounces, 2.74 ounces, 5.5 ounces, and 9.5 ounces. All of the bottles have flip tops on them, but the sizes of two ounces and up keep the lube from spilling as much better than the one ounce bottle top. It is clear, and has no flavor or smell. It has ginkgo biloba and red clover to as more of a sensation to the happy bits. It's made from purified water, glycerin, propylene glycol, cellulose polymer, polyethelene oxide, sodium benzoate, ginko biloba leaf extract, trifolium protense (red clover) flower extract, methylparaben, carbomer 981, tetrahydroxypropyl ethylenediamine, and diazolidinyl ur.

The ginkgo biloba and red clover really do as a unique sensation to ID Pleasure Sensual Lubricant. It's not a tingle like some extras in lubes make, but it just makes things more sensitive than they are to began with. Or it really did a lot of extra for me, but it didn't do much extra for my husband.

ID Pleasure Sensual Lubricant actually is amazing for a water based lube. It really did only take one application to last the whole time having sex. All that I used was about a drop in my hand about the size of a nickel and I was good.

I think I have finally found that water based lube that I can be in love with.
Follow-up commentary
Now I have little pillows of ID Pleasure in my travel sex kit and I have a tube of it that I keep in my purse for good measure. Still one of my favorite water based lube.

I didn't get much of anything as far as heightened sensitivity. Which I'm actually pretty thankful for after trying some other lubes that claim to do similar and finding myself washing it off immediately. The boyfriend loved it though.

  • Is there a difference between warming and cooling lubes?
    • Is there a difference between warming and cooling? they both sound like they feel tingly.
    • the warming lube makes your penis feel like its on fire. the cooling tingles. neither one feels good, IMO.

It's not a flavored lubricant, and in the reviews people noted that it didn't have an especially good taste to it, somewhat like plastic.
    • i wouldn't want to taste a lube unless it is for oral sex and is flavored
