Hocus Pocus.

The Spellbound G is a fun little toy. It comes in adorable, bright colors. The powerful vibrations and the non-threatening design makes this a perfect toy for beginners out there. Complete with an O ring, the Spellbound is waterproof and easy to clean. The curved tip is nicely rounded and not at all pointy. It may still be uncomfortable to use for some people. Look on the bright side. It would always make a good clit vibe if it doesn't work out as an internal toy.

Use

Spellbound G is for, well the name pretty much describes what this is supposed to stimulate. The length is long enough to insert a few inches while also keeping a grip on the base. For this reason, I don't see any problem with using this anally as long as you are careful. Beginners to anal play will want to get something with a flared base, something softer, and something with a smaller diameter. The curved tip helps target and stimulate the G-spot or P-spot. It also helps reach erogenous zones like the clit without having to contort your wrists. The tip, of course, makes the stimulation more pinpoint. If you find this to be way too much, I suggest using the back of the head (the flatter side) or the shaft to stimulate the clit or nipples. I find the tip to be extremely fun when applied to the outside of the anus. The vibrations feel wonderful and sometimes ticklish.
Plastic isn't a good material for temperature play, but that doesn't mean that your ideas are limited because of that. Because of the easy to use controls, I find this to be a great solo toy. The vibrations are powerful, and I am pleased when using it internally or externally. The tip can have some issues with pubic bones. I find that this toy does this to me quite a bit, so I mainly leave it as a solo toy. I find it hard to relax when this toy is in my partner's hands. I constantly tense up just waiting for the tip to catch. However, this doesn't mean that it can't be used as a foreplay toy with a partner. It could make a wonderful toy for those couples just making the journey into the sex toy world as it doesn't look intimidating, it is powerful and easy to use, and it is waterproof. This toy can be a little loud, so I don't really recommend this toy for those who have to be discreet (aka someone with roommates).

Material / Texture

The Spellbound G is a rigid, plastic vibrator. This entire orange wonder, including the curved G-spot tip, is as rigid as glass. It would be very hard to break this toy unless you are actually trying to. The entire surface is covered with a velvet coating, so that way the surface isn't slippery and slick. It feels very good when rubbed against the skin. Plastic has no smells or tastes, and it rarely retains smells. After a good cleaning, the toy is as good as new.
A little bit under the curved tip is a small, thin metal ring. While plastic is a little cool to the touch, this ring is always cold at first. Don't worry though, because the entire toy warms up to your body temperature quickly. The velvet coating tends to give the toy some drag. I noticed that it requires more lube than the average toy. There is a small gap between the plastic and the metal ring. Both materials are non-porous, hypo-allergenic, and latex/phthalates free. If sharing, I still recommend using a condom with it to protect everyone. Both materials are also compatible with oil, silicone, and water based lubricants.

Design / Shape / Size

As far as design goes, the Spellbound G is pretty basic. This isn't really a bad thing. In fact, it is a good thing for beginners who are just starting out with G-spot play. The very tip is curved like a finger to help stimulate the G-spot. Now the tip is small for pinpoint stimulation, but it isn't pointy or anything like that. I have had many problems in the past with G-spot vibrators being too pointy or sharp. I am happy to say that the tip on this is rounded for a more comfortable insertion.
The metal ring is barely raised, so I tend to not even notice it during play time. On my more sensitive days, I can feel it during thrusting, but even then I would say that it didn't add or take away from the toy. I tend to look at it as decoration. It definitely gives a regular plastic vibe a more polished look and feel to it. The gap between the plastic shaft and the metal ring is so small that, again, I could not feel it during use. The shaft is completely smooth, so don't worry about this thing having seams. The base is your regular, run of the mill dial control. The dial has little grooves on it to help slippery fingers grab onto it without difficulty. Inside of the base, you will find an O ring. This makes the toy completely waterproof. I have submerged the toy on many occassions, and it is still kicking! Although this toy does come in some fun colors, I wouldn't classify it as being discreet.

Functions / Performance / Controls

Something so brightly colored better be powerful right? Yes! This baby takes two C batteries, and it does accept rechargeables as well. Unscrew the bottom, and slide the batteries in. Screw the cap back on, and you are good to go. I would suggest taking the batteries out after use and before storage as the toy is pretty easy to turn on. To turn the toy on, simply turn the dial. This toy has the basic low, medium, and high speeds. The more you turn the dial, the more the intensity grows. The dial is easy to turn all the way off in case you are interrupted. It is also easy to turn the dial with one hand, so there won't be a problem if your other hand is busy.
The battery life is average and nothing too spectacular. The power this thing gives off, however, is insane. The vibrations are mainly located in the head, but they do travel very well throughout the rest of the toy. The base does vibrate a little, but it never gave me itchy or numb fingers. The vibrations are on the rumbly side, and they have also never left me numb or tingly. Given how powerful this toy is, I have to say that it isn't overly loud. It is a little louder than a cell phone vibrating. It could barely be heard through a closed door. A shower or fan running in the background does help drown out the noise.

Care and Maintenance

The Spellbound G is super easy to clean and care for thanks to the waterproof feature. Make sure the battery cap is screwed on tightly, and clean with warm water and antibacterial soap. You can also use a toy cleaner or toy wipe. Plastic cannot be boiled or anything like that. Make sure you really pay attention to the gap between the metal ring and the plastic. A quick run of a fingernail usually does the trick. Even though plastic is non-porous, I would still use a condom if sharing or using for both anal and vaginal penetration. If you feel like you need to clean the toy more deeply, I always apply isoproply alchohol to a cotton ball and rub that over the toy. Before storing, be sure to remove the batteries or else the toy might drain them. I store mine with other plastic toys.

Packaging

Spellbound comes in the typical plastic clamshell packaging. The toy is completely visible in the front, and there is a picture of the entire toy on the back. The front has a picture of a lady on it, but it isn't a nude or offensive photo. The back has some generic information about the toy. For example, it tells you what and how many batteries the toy takes. There is a diagram on how to insert the batteries in the inside of the packaging. The packaging is nothing home to write about, but it can be used for future storage. It will not be a permanent storage solution, but it will work if you have nothing else.
