This vibe is suitable for beginners and could be used anywhere on the body externally. While the different textures are great for tickling various erogenous zones, this toy is best for clitoral stimulation. With the sleeve removed, the bullet could certainly be inserted vaginally, but the lack of a flared base makes it unsafe for anal play.

I personally prefer to use bullets during solo play and foreplay, as I don't really like having both hands occupied during intercourse. My favorite way to incorporate this toy into couple play is to hand over the battery pack and allow my partner to control the speed. Or, if you're a fluid-bonded couple, give the whole thing to your partner and you can take turns teasing each other with it.

Jelly Juggler's battery pack and bullet are made from hard ABS plastic. The sleeve is body safe TPR. Both materials are phthalates-free, without any smell or taste. The textured sleeve feels pretty slick for TPR, with minimal surface drag. It also doesn't seem to attract lint and dust as much as other toys made from TPR.

The top of the bullet features a row of soft, raised ridges of slightly varying height. Down one side, there is a close cluster of short, tentacle-like protrusions and a vertical row of single bumps. The other side has a smooth, oval-shaped indentation and 3 rounded horizontal ribs. So there is plenty of variety and stimulation possibilities to explore.

This toy is suitable for anybody who enjoys playing with a number of varying textures. It's also a great choice for beginners, especially since the sleeve is removable. Users can try out different textures or opt for a plain, smooth bullet by taking off the sleeve. There is a horizontal seam around the middle of the bullet, but I don't even notice it when I use this toy without the sleeve.

With its sleeve on, the Jelly Juggler is about the size and shape of an extra large egg, measuring 2 3/4 inches long, around 1 3/4 inches wide, and just over 5 inches in girth. Naked, the bullet is only 2 1/4 inches long, about an inch in diameter, and almost 3 1/4 inches in girth. The cord is a convenient 28 inches. If it were any shorter it would be too short, and a much longer cord would likely get in the way.

My only gripe is that some textures are easier to access than others. Bullet and egg vibes aren't always the easiest toys to hold in place anyway, and the ribs and single row of bumps closer to where the cord attaches on this one are tricky to get to, and often the cord interferes.

The battery pack has a simple and convenient dial to control the continuous vibration speed. There are no set speed settings, just turn the dial to increase or decrease the vibration intensity. This toy is pretty quiet and can only be heard through bed covers at top speed, but even then it's not audible through a closed door. The vibration can be felt all over the surface, with the longer raised areas moving similar to the bunny ears on a rabbit-style vibe.

For a battery-operated vibe, the Jelly Juggler has plenty of power. The vibration at the lower speeds are nice and rumbly. Even with the sleeve off at top speed it's not too buzzy. Being a bullet, it does numb the hand after a while, especially at the higher speeds.

The toy's materials are compatible with both silicone-based and water-based lubes, but it does require careful cleaning since it's not waterproof and two of the sleeve's textures have a lot of places for germs and residue to hide. Once I realized the sleeve was removable, I started taking it off to clean because then I didn't have the added worry of accidentally splashing water into where the cord attaches. After thorough washing with antibacterial soap and warm water (toy cleaner also works), I turn the sleeve inside-out and dry the underside to make sure no moisture gets trapped between the bullet and sleeve. Then I put it back to normal and let it finish drying before replacing it back on the bullet.

The "Instructions for Use" include storage information: After use, remove the batteries and store the Jelly Juggler in a cool, dry place away from other toys of varying materials. I keep mine in a plastic bag in my toy drawer.

The Jelly juggler comes in an easy-to-open, clear plastic clamshell. The paper insert has a cute, almost whimsical, design to it, as well as basic product information printed in very small font and multiple languages. Inside, there is a long, folded piece of paper with more detailed instructions in several languages. While I wouldn't consider the packaging discreet since you can clearly see the toy through the clear plastic, there aren't any graphic images or nudity. It's also not that great for storing the toy because I have a difficult time fitting the bullet's cord back into it.

I love how this product comes with detailed instructions. That to me is yet another reason why this would be a great starter bullet or beginner's toy. However, the company uses these same instructions for multiple products, and unfortunately they don't specify in the "Instructions for Use" that some toys (like this one) are not safe for anal. So, I definitely take issue with that because a sex toy novice may not know to only use toys with a flange or flared base for anal play.

I was also impressed with how slick the sleeve's surface feels. Compared to other jelly-like toys made from TPR, this one has very little surface drag and doesn't collect nearly as much dust and lint. But be careful if you choose to remove the sleeve. The last time I replaced the sleeve on my Jelly Juggler I accidentally tore it, so make sure not to stretch the opening too much or let your fingernail snag it. Now, it's no secret I'm a pretty clumsy person and have a knack for breaking stuff, but I was disappointed when the sleeve ripped on me. Now I'm afraid to take it off the bullet again for fear it will split open even more when I put it back on. Now there are now new places for germs to hide.

Probably my favorite thing of all about this toy--apart from the powerful orgasms, of course--is the battery compartment. I know I'm easily amused, but bear with me; all you do is push the bottom panel and a little battery-holder drawer pops open. I'll let you know in my follow-up review how well the spring (or whatever it is that causes the compartment to pop open) holds up over time, especially with me repeatedly playing with it.
