I Didn't Quite Sqweel With Delight Using This Toy

The sqweel is probably going to be a hit or miss toy. People who need a lot of pressure and power won't find much enjoyment. Someone who likes a lot of teasing and tickling will probably love it. I think it is a good toy, just not a good toy for me.

Use

The Sqweel is an interesting toy that is very innovative and unique. It isn't a vibrator, but rather it spins a wheel to mimic oral stimulation using several little tongues on the wheel. It will only work for external stimulation, and it is pretty light stimulation at that. It is designed for women, but it can be used by men as well for a different type of stimulation. It can be used for solo play or as a couple, though you might get some strange looks from your partner the first time you pull out such a strange looking toy.

Material / Texture

The outer black case is made from hard velvety plastic. It does have a little bit of a smell to it which has lingered the 8 months that I've had it, but it's not an overwhelming scent and isn't really noticeable during play. The wheel is pink and is made out of TPR which is very soft, squishy, and bendable which you can see in the picture below. Both materials are compatible with water based or silicone based lube which is good because you will need a lot of lube when using this toy. These materials are not completely sterilizable. So while you can clean the toy, you won't want to share this with anyone you aren't fluid bonded with. There is a seam that runs down each of the tongues that's pretty noticeable. It didn't bother me too much, but it might be bothersome who are senitive to that sort of thing.

Design / Shape / Size

The Sqweel has one of the most unique designs I've ever seen.It is 4.5" in length and is very light. There are two main components to the toy: the case and the wheel. The case contains the motor which spins the wheel around. It also holds the wheel itself. The wheel has 10 bendable tongues on it and is the part that actually makes contact with the body. The design definitely does what it says it will do. It is a design that requires a lot of lube and I feel the need to reapply quite often while using this toy which creates a bit of a mess.

I would say that this toy is discreet epecially if the lid is on it. I don't think a lot of people would look at it and automaticly think it was a sex toy, but it is unusual looking object so it might provoke some questions that you might need to prepare for.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The controls are pretty simple. Just slide the button over to turn it on. There are low, medium, and high settings. The wheel only spins in one direction, although you can turn it around to have the tongues facing the other way for a different feel. It spins pretty fast, especially on the high setting. There isn't much pressure from the tongues on the wheel, even less than there is from a real tongue. If you try and apply any pressure with this toy it will stop the wheel from spinning which is pretty annoying if you are someone who likes a lot of pressure with your toys. It doesn't feel much like a regular tongue and gives about as much pressure as a paintbrush stroke.

It's hard to rate the "vrooms" on this toy because it is so different from other toy. It does spin very fast, and does cause a lot of sensation but it feels more ticklish than anything and isn't exactly a powerful feeling. This probably won't be a toy that will want to use to get off right away, but it is good for teasing, warming up, and slowly getting some people to orgasm.

The Sqweel is somewhat noisy, but doesn't sound like a vibrator. It sounds more like a remote controlled toy car than a sex toy and is about as loud as a toy car too. I was able to hear it through a closed door easily. I could even hear it through 2 closed doors. So it's not a good pick if you need something quiet.

It is not waterproof at all, and should not be used in the water.

Care and Maintenance

The Sqweel is a pain in the butt to clean. Because there are so many little tongues and you need to use so much lube with this, it is pretty high maintenance to clean. I usually take the wheel out and wash it in soap and water and then use a damp cloth or toy wipe to wipe down the black casing. There are a lot of nooks and crannies in this toy and it can be difficult to clean all of them well.

because the casing has a lid, I wouldn't say it needs any special storage. Tossing it in a drawer or box would be fine. It does come with a very nice (but large) storage case you can keep it in.

Packaging

The packaging was very nice and classy and would be great for gifting. It comes in a silver tin with a velvety mold to set it in. It comes with a lube sample and an owner's guide with instructions. It does say Sqweel on the packaging which might make people curious too look inside and see what it is, but other than that it is pretty discreet packaging.

    • Good for storage

Experience

I wasn't terribly impressed with this toy. I bought it maybe 7 or 8 months ago and I've only used it a handful of times. Out of all of the toys I've bought it's probably been my biggest disappointment so far. However It is important to note that I have never orgasmed from oral sex either, so an oral sex simulator probably wasn't the best pick for me anyway. I definitely would not buy it again. I don't think it is a bad toy, it just isn't the right toy for me. People who don't need a lot of pressure may enjoy it more than I do.
Follow-up commentary
This just isn't a toy that works for me. It does what it says it will do and I do still believe it will work for a lot of people. I pull it out every once in awhile thinking maybe this time I will enjoy it, but I'm always dissapointed. It's not a bad toy, but it's just not a match for me.

Being hard to clean and on the louder side is putting me off. And like you I've never orgasmed from oral sex, and probably shouldn't get my hopes up that a toy mimicking oral sex would do the job! Thanks for the great review!

Great review. I'd probably skip this one. But it is hard to know for sure until it is tried.

Thanks for the review! I'm not really a fan of light, ticklish stimulation, so I'll skip this.
