The Ellove is my favorite insertable, traditional type vibe. Everything about it is just great. The vibrations are powerful, but not too powerful. The curviness of the Ellove hits my G-spot just right. The Ellove is made more for insertion and G-spot stimulation than for clitoral stimulation. Ellove is just the right size for me, I feel pleasantly filled but the Ellove is not too big that it is hard to insert or feels uncomfortable. The length and girth are just the right size. The Ellove is easy to thrust in and out. Ellove uses four AAA batteries and packs a lot of power. There are three different vibration settings that can be used, but I much prefer steady vibration. I do like the "rollercoaster" vibration when I am thrusting the Ellove. The Ellove has a unique Turbo Boost button to push you over the edge right when you need it. I don't use the Turbo Boost button very often, but it really does add a nice burst of power. I think this vibe would work best for women who want the feeling of fullness when this vibe is inserted and want g-spot stimulation. I usually use this toy when I want a long, intense masturbation session. I usually use this vibe with a combination of a clitoral vibe. I have very intense orgasms and sometimes squirt while using the Ellove.

The insertable portion of the Ellove is made of silicone. The part with the control buttons is a hard plastic. There is no smell to the Ellove at all. A more advanced user would appreciate everything about this vibe. The Ellove is not exactly hard to hide, but is not discreet either. Because of the size, it might be a little of a challenge to hide. This vibe is not very discreet, it is obviously a vibe and a sizable one at that, so find a good hiding place for it if you don't want someone to see it. The Ellove is probably not that great for travel mainly because of it's size.

The vibrations of the Ellove is near the base where the controls are located. The vibrations do travel well through the silicone. Because of the flexibility of the Ellove, while it is inserted it can be bent upwards toward the clit for maximum vibrations. The controls are pretty easy to use. Press the up button to turn on the Ellove at the lowest steady vibration. When turned on the a pretty purple light glows around the up and down buttons. Hold down the plus button to increase the intensity of the vibrations. After reaching the maximum vibration setting, press the plus button again to cycle through the three different vibration settings. Press the down button to return to steady vibrations and to turn down the intensity of the vibrations. There is also a special Turbo Boost button which adds a nice burst of power when you really need it. For people who are used to very powerful vibrations for vibes such as ones that are plugged in might be a little disappointed in the power of the Ellove, but I this the Ellove holds its own when it comes to the power of a battery operated vibe. I find the buttons a little hard to press, especially when the Ellove is vibration. Pressing the buttons makes my fingers hurt and makes it a little hard to operate. The Ellove is a little noisy and could be heard from under blankets when turned on to the highest vibration setting. The Ellove is not exactly waterproof, but it is splashproof. I'm not a fan of using vibrators in the shower so I don't often get to test out waterproof features. I have cleaned the Ellove in the sink under running water and have never had a problem with water getting in it and causing problems.

This toy is very easy to care for. The Ellove is non porous and phthalates-free. I usually clean it with warm water and soap. I also use antibacterial toy wipes or a spray cleaner. It can also be sanitized with a 10% bleach solution. I would not recommend boiling or putting in the dishwasher. The box that the Ellove came in could be kept for storage, but I found it to be too big for me to keep. Silicone toys should not be stored with other silicone toys. The Ellove could be easily wrapped in a soft cloth or in a toy bag for storage. Because the Ellove is silicone, a silicone based lube cannot be used with the Ellove. I highly recommend a nice water based lube such as the brand Pink. Once the Ellove is lubed up it has a wonderful texture and is very easy to insert.
