I shall call you Squishy, and you shall be my Squishy.

Try it out if you're new to this - it's not scary, it's cute, and it's approachable - but it will still float your boat.

I wasn't expecting this little guy to be soft! I got this as my free gift with purchase, and he's so cute and squishy and fun. This was the first vibrating toy I've ever tried (besides that toothbrush in 7th grade...don't tell Mom), and I think it's a good one for beginners. It's friendly-looking, in a sweet purple-and-white color combination that makes you feel at ease, and it's soft to the touch. It's really cute and, well, let's face it: I watch enough children's movies to come up with the title of this review. I like cute.

I love that this is waterproof, and I can't wait to try it in the shower. I live in a dorm, so there is absolutely no privacy, and I'm fairly sure the water would be enough to drown out the noise of this thing (see what I did there?). I used it under the covers today, and it wasn't so loud that the folks at 42 Wallaby Way, Sydney could hear; but it was loud enough to be heard through the blankets.

To clean, I wipe it down with a wet wipe. I don't have to worry about absolute sterilization, because I don't share with anyone. You might want to get some alcohol wipes if you do, because I don't think you can sterilize this one completely. The soft, rubbery material looks at least a little bit porous to me. The one thing that bothered me about this toy is that there were a few imperfections in the material - dents and things - and in one place, it seemed like the material was actually flaking away. That's a bit disconcerting.

You turn the wheel around the bottom, to turn it on and turn it up or down. I actually had a little bit of trouble figuring out the battery situation, because the labeling is somewhat unclear. I had some problems getting it to turn on at first. But eventually I figured it out and it works fine now. It takes two AAA batteries.

On to the good vibrations. I feel like this is the perfect speed for me, and probably a lot of other beginners or sensitive women. The soft material made the vibrations indirect and less intense, and I liked that. It's very low-key and relaxing, but still exciting to your under-the-sea palace. (Let's just say it made me ink.) It's a very non-intimidating toy. The shape is weird, but it's still cute and soft and fun. I wouldn't put it inside, because of the strange nubs sticking out on both sides. They look like they would hurt your poor little anemone if inserted. Otherwise, the Twisted Hearts is a good and squishy first adventure. Now buy one and engage in some...ah...finding Nemo.
Follow-up commentary
Unfortunately, I accidentally had this sitting in my drawer next to another toy, and it melted! Drat, because I liked this one. I wish I knew what the other toy was made out of, maybe rubber? I guess I should have paid attention to the materials and possible interactions and not placed them next to each other. In the end, I had to throw this one out!

Thanks for the review When I first seen these, i found them a bit intimidating, especially not knowing if the lippy things that stuck out were hard or not. I read in another review they are quite soft, but at first glance, I was intimidated! lol Thanks again hun
