I've Got Big Balls!

Vaginal balls by Fun Factory

Published: October 4, 2008
useful review
These ben wa balls are covered in hygienic Elastomed material for a safe trip in your vagina, no matter where you want to go!
Pros:
Portability! They fill your vagina nicely for girth and kegel exercises.
Cons:
They would be more useful for kegels if they were heavier.
This toy was definitely designed
I have to be honest, when even before I received the Smart balls, I thought they were big; when I saw them in person they looked positively huge. The magenta/rose color wasn't my first choice, but it's growing on me, and these balls sell out quickly!

My expectation was that they would be plush and soft because of them being advertised (initially) as silicone (now advertised as Elastomed). They weren't. While they are not hard like plastic, the Elastomed material is stiff around the balls, but the Elastomed that connects the balls can be slightly bendy.

I have no clue why they're labeled as silicone on the box when the outer material is listed as Elastomed, TPR's non-porous cousin.

Even though my first assumptions were wrong, that didn't dampen my determination to use them. If stronger PC muscles mean better (more?) orgasms, sign me up.

I thought the size of these buggers was going to be an issue, but they were only initially. With a bit of lube (water-based on the off chance that they might actually contain silicone), they go in fairly easily. They're not the easiest things for me to put in some times, since my other toys have ranged from 3 to 3 and one-half inches in circumference.

Do I think these are great balls for strengthening your PC muscles? Maybe. Even with my limited experience, I'd suggest more weighted balls/bars/dildos for vaginas that need extreme help. I say that because Smart balls aren't particularly heavy.

For me, a virgin who uses fairly slim toys (to date), the balls perform quite adequately.

I don't know if it's purely psychological, but I feel like my vaginal walls can contract more tightly. Besides, the bars and dildos can't be worn wherever you please like the Smart balls.

If I ever hit a plateau in the effectiveness of balls for exercising my PC muscles, I'll still keep them. They give my vagina something to grab onto while I'm fiddling with my clit. It really makes a difference in how clitoral play feels.

The balls each have another, smaller ball in them that jangle about if you move a certain way. For some this may give a pleasant sensation, but the feeling of the vibrations they give are too slight and irregular for me. Maybe that will change.

Aside from the rattling balls, the kegel capabilities, and girth, there is something empowering about wearing them around. Even if someone heard them, they won't know that the sound is coming from your vagina! It's your secret unless you decide to share!

And you own your personal BALLS! Get it? BALLS! I've got big balls! *wink*

I learned to push them out, too. That inexplicably entertains me.

Cleaning these is a simple process of hot soap and water.

Ha. The pushing them out is an exercise in and of itself. Also, for a lengthy silicone/elastomed discussion, check out this forum post. Basically, elastomed is so similar that it can be treated the same way as silicone (boiled to sterilize, no silicone lube, etc.).
