Joanna Angel's spiked duotone balls - vaginal balls discontinued by Topco Sales - review by Retro

Joanna Angel's spiked duotone balls are used for strengthening the vaginal muscles. When I first pulled them out I read the paper inside then cleaned them off. These balls were not bigger than I was expecting because I used the size tool. I am really terrible at remembering sizes so this was an easy way to see what I was getting into, well what I was going to get in to me.

I cannot stress enough that you should use the size option on the product page. These are bigger than ben wa balls and have nubs on them. They are for inserting vaginally and then contracting your vaginal muscles. I did not mess around with contracting my own muscles too much because I moved around a lot when wearing them. I found it fun to walk up and down stairs, do house work or exercise while they are inserted. You can hear the little balls/weights rolling around inside but I didn't feel any vibrations.

I do not recommend using these without lube or putting them in a condom before insertion. The nubs can make it harder to insert them and I am thankful for the amount of lube I used when first applying them. I do not recommend these for anal use. Although the string was sturdy these are big balls WITH NUBS. They can cause rectal damage or the string might pop from pressure. I do not recommend sharing this toy or trying to wear them during intercourse. Also, be careful of how long you keep them in. Extended use can cause irritation.

I want to get a second pair because they are very cool looking. I think it would make a great rear view mirror decoration.

Joanna Angel's spiked duotone balls are made of rubber. Rubber is a porous material so sharing this toy is advised against. When opening the container I did not notice any odors unless I actually put the item up to my nose. They are circular with flat tipped, almost spiked-like nubs making them bumpy instead of smooth.

Eden's material guide states, "Being porous, rubber does not clean well. You can make a rubber toy last longer and keep it cleaner by using a condom over it with each use."

Joanna Angel's spiked duotone balls are made out of rubber. Their circumference is 5", a diameter of 1 5/8'' and their weight is 0.3 lb. If you are like me and terrible at remembering sizes then I highly suggest using the size tool on Eden's product page. It really helped me see their size much better and I am better with visual aid anyway.

When first looking at the duotone balls they are circular balls with nubs sticking out. I received these in black with pink nubs. I started by pulling the string a little bit to make sure they were secure enough. I was comfortable that the strings were not going to pop out. The shape came off a little bit intimidating because of the nubs. I noticed on the nubs that some of them were a little rough. I filed over it with my finger nail but didn't want to accidentally mess up the toy.

All in all I did like the design. I can see how it is a good choice for vaginal exercising. I got them in easily with generous lube. One of the nubs hit my outside just as I was putting it in. It hurt a little but no blood and the second followed with no problems.

I got a good water based lube and propped my leg up to put them in. When I put the first ball in a nub caught me and it hurt. I took a deep breath and didn't chicken out to put the second one in. The second one wasn't hard to put in and I didn't hurt myself on a nub.

I didn't feel any vibrations but I normally don't with these types of things anyway. I seem to be less sensitive in the vaginal area. I kept having the urge to pee and worrying they might fall out. They did not fall out and I think that was just from the string sticking out. A few minutes later I had no fears they would pop out but still had the feeling to pee. I know that was just from where they pressed on my vaginal wall.

They certainly were fun to wear. As I moved around more I no longer felt I had to pee. I was having more fun with the bumps from going up and down the stairs. I did a work out where I jumped around a lot. I am even more interested in getting an elliptical now and regret not testing them out at the gym. I WILL be doing that and put it in a follow up review.

I really liked them but do not wear them for extended periods of time. I cannot give a definite time frame, but after a while I couldn't really feel anything. With similar products my stomach started to hurt so I took them out.

The care instructions inside of the product package say to wash after each use with liquid anti-bacterial soap and water. Pat dry with soft, cotton towel and allow to air dry completely. For maximum pleasure, use lubricant with this product(silicone and water lubricants are recommended for rubber materials).

To store this toy I use the package it came in. The package opens and closes easily. I also found the package easy to wipe down, so that was a plus. It isn't a big or bulky package aside from the part where the duotone balls stick out. It is an easy size and fits into a toy box I have.

I received the product in a small to medium box. It had brown shipping paper crumbled on top of it to keep the actual product from moving around too much inside the box. The product itself is in an easy-to-open plastic container. The plastic container has the product and a sheet of paper listing other company items and care instructions.
