I-Vibe Is a Better Name

This is a fabulous item. I would give it five stars for solo play and three stars for couple's play, so I will balance it by giving it four stars.

Use

This vibe is amazing. It works great for both G-spot/inside vibrations and clit/outside vibrations. This toy will only really work for women, but it can be used during sex with a partner, giving pleasure to both. This vibe is best used during sex just about anywhere. I love the We-Vibe especially before sex. This vibe can be used solo, which is another great thing.

Material / Texture

This product is silicone, meaning it's pretty indestructible. It has no smell or taste. Its texture is mostly smooth with a few ribs on it, which are nice but not particularly noticed. Everyone can like this vibe because it fits so perfectly. No matter how you are shaped, its smooth and general design works well. It also has a flexible middle so that it will rest comfortably no matter what your anatomy entails.

The design of this product is just lovely. It's very discreet and doesn't look like a sex toy. It's cute, simple, and smooth. I love how it's very small and flexible. It makes it easy to insert and comfortable to leave in. Its slight bulb shape helps it stay in, even in different positions. Although it can slip out, it doesn't happen often. You could leave this product out on a dresser and it wouldn't be noticed; it's small and plain. I even enjoy hooking it around its charger to just leave it out in the open.

Functions / Performance / Controls

This vibe has quite a few different patterns, and each can be quite intense. There is one button for easy changing of patterns. Each click brings you up the cycle and then back to the first one. Holding the button down turns it off. It's simple but easy and comfortable to reach. You have to press it hard enough that it's hard to press by accident, but it's easy enough to change speeds. There are steady vibes, fast steady vibes, cha cha vibes, speed increase vibes, and a variety of other patterns. The slow and steady vibes and the fade patterns are the best. This toy is easy to clean, too: simply wash it off in the sink. Although it's waterproof, I'm always afraid of getting water in the hole where it charges, so I have that part out of the water when I can. I have never submerged it, but it's just fine being run under the tap.

Care and Maintenance

Since silicone tends to be a lint collector, keep this toy in its bag. It keeps it away from lint collection. If it does get lint covered, simply rinse it off. Recharge this toy after a good hour of use, and if you haven't used it in a while, it's a good idea to randomly give it a good charge just in case. Do not use silicone lube with this toy: it may melt the silicone. Water-based lubes work best (as oil-based lubes are not good for women anyway).

Packaging

There were a whole lot of instructions for such a simple toy. It had cute, simple packaging, but the bag served as its new home, so the package wasn't needed and didn't suffice as a storage container.

I LOVE this toy; however, it's not right for everyone, I guess (well, not all guys anyway).

Experience

As much as I would love to have sex with this toy, I can't. Vibes are great for me but too strong for my partner. He couldn't take the vibrations; they were too intense for him. It was also strange for him to rub up against the vibe. It wasn't a bad thing—it just made things all too short. I find it's best used more for solo play and for foreplay than for actual sex.
Follow-up commentary
Nothing has changed regarding how much I love this product. It's still fabulous, and now I've just perfected my likes and use for it. I really can't use it for simulation for me and my mate because it's too strong for him, but it's great for solo play and fun with toys. I hope other people enjoy this toy as much as I do.

How long do you charge this toy for initially? (when you give it it's first charge) How long should you charge it for after that? How long does it hold it's charge until it runs out of power and needs to be recharged? What does the charger look like, is it discreet? I had the first We-Vibe, it only had 2 speeds and I loved it enough that I never bothered to upgrade to the 2nd but I may eventually get the 3rd since it charges magnetically. One fun way for a guy to get enjoyment out of this is to lube it up and hold it in your hand while giving him a handjob, just make sure it's really lubed up Glad that you liked this one, We-Vibe makes awesome toys, thanks for sharing this review!

      If you have an adult store near you I would suggest going. We decided on this toy because the store employee allowed us to see one out of the box and hold it and see what it does. by going to the store I got a better view of other things here that I was interested in.
    • I agree - head to your local toy store. That's how I decided to buy mine. Feel it, get a first-hand idea of the size, flexibility, etc. Then, if you like it, come back to Eden and buy it. If your local toy store is anything like the ones around here, they don't give half the number of discounts as Eden Fantasys. :)

      I have been having the same problem with it not staying in place during intercourse as well.

    • A simple yes or no works for me. Please feel free to get in depth on why or why not it didn't work well. I'm thinking of this as a gift for my husband on his belated birthday.

      Also, has this caused discomfort to anyone's penis?
    • It works better for me as a solo toy. My husband is on the smaller side of average and he was able to fit inside of me with this comfortably, but I prefer smaller girthed things so this plus him was a little too much for me. I haven't revisited it in a while though.

      it is not too big as it looks on pictures
    • It is really quite easy to insert. The motors are smaller than a penis, and it is really thin where the two motors connect.
