This is a dual stimulation vibrator, so the most effective way to use it is vaginally, with the arm pressed to the clitoris. This one can be held in place, used hands free, but also can be thrusted, and I also find it nice to rotate it a bit to let the clitoral arm slide side to side. I have also turned it around to use it as only a vibrating dildo (the arm wasn't long enough to reach my anus). I wouldn't recommend this toy for that anal use. There are so many better anal toys available anyways!

You could easily fit a condom on the shaft if you're practicing safe toy sharing, but it wouldn't cover the clitoral arm. It is amazing for solo play, but would also be fun for couples play. It is completely waterproof, which makes it fun to try in the tub or shower, and makes cleanup very easy.

The Vr3 is made of medical grade silicone, which in addition to satisfying my need for the safest materials I can find, is also one of the nicest to use in my opinion. It came out of the package with no smell or taste. To the touch, I find it to be more velvety than other silicones I've tried (like Lelo products), and if definitely has some drag when slid across dry skin. I can't say that is my favorite silicone, but the addition of a water based lube makes using it an excellent experience that I think would please beginners and advanced users alike. The only caveat is: your favorite lube is a must!

There is a slight seam running down the center line of this toy that you can see and feel with your fingers if you're really concentrating, but I have never noticed it during use.

The middle of the shaft and the clitoral arm of the toy are somewhat flexible, which is very helpful for me during use, since I like to thrust slightly so the clitoral arm rubs on me. The flexibility makes this pleasant rub possible. The rest of the toy is firm, which makes the G-spot bulb effective, and the handle of the toy easy to keep a grip on.

Overall this toy is about 6 1/2" long, and the shaft can be inserted about 3 1/2", and the widest point of the shaft is 4 1/2" circumference. The size of this toy makes me think this would be good for moderate beginners (maybe not the best option for a first toy, I don't recommend dual stimulation toys for firsts in general). I think the size of the toy also makes it somewhat easy to hide in a box or in a sock drawer, but it may be too big to hide in your purse! It also comes with a nylon-type bag that is over-sized for this toy, but makes it a bit more discreet when storing.

The main picture of this toy makes the clitoral arm look rather "far away" from the shaft, but make sure to check out some of the other user uploaded pictures, because it is closer than I expected. When I use it, the arm does reach over the exact point where my clitoris would be, but I don't find this to be a problem since direct vibrations are sometimes overwhelming to me.

Let me be shallow for a moment...the color of this toy is AWESOME. It is like a neon pink-purple that is hard to describe, and different from most of the pictures that I've seen on the internet. Rest assured, it's a stunner! And let's face it--if I'm going to spend this much money, I want a good looking toy along with performance. The overall shape is aesthetically pleasing as well, it has a graceful curve that is pretty, but also makes it easy to hold.

The controls of this toy are on the handle, right underneath the clitorial arm. I caught on to the controls very quickly, but I could see how it could be challenging to some. Simply hold down the top button until it increases to the speed you like, and give it a tap when you want it off. The button lights up red when it's being touched. The bottom button is the same but for the clitoral arm. This makes shutoff quick if you need to stop it at a moment's notice, but is a little cumbersome if you want to increase your speed just a little at a time. It is very nice to be able to control the shaft and the arm seperately though, because your G-spot and clitoris can want different things at the same time!

I find it hard to describe the levels of intensity of the vibrations, because they step up gradually that it feels more like a gradual increase more so than "steps" up. I find the lowest setting to be rather high in comparison to other toys, and the highest setting is much more intense than others I've tried (though I admit I have not tried a Hitachi or Wahl). Let's just say I don't use it at the highest speed very much because it is so intense!

I love that this is not a noisy toy. It is quiet enough that you definitely can't hear it though a closed door, and it is likely not to be heard under a blanket, especially not at the lower speeds. It is also waterproof, and I used it in the shower without a problem, and love that I can clean it with soap and water in the sink easily.

This is a rechargeable toy, so getting this to full power is just a matter of leaving it plugged into the wall for a few hours. It seems to hold a charge forever to me... I have only had to recharge this a few times in the many months I've owned it! The reliable battery is a huge plus in my book.

This toy is super easy to clean, I just use soap and water in the sink under running water. Since this toy is waterproof and has no inward seams to catch liquid. You could use toy wipes if you prefer those, or a 10% bleach solution if you're looking to disinfect it completely.

I did find that the silicone collects a little bit of lint, but in my experience, as long as you leave it in the bag that comes with it, it is clean and ready to use whenever you are ready.

I admit that I had high expectations for this toy. Jopen is a well known line around Edenfantasys, and the price is high, so I wanted this to be my new favorite toy.

I hate to admit that I was a little let down the first time I used it. I had the speed too high, and overwhelmed my entire lady area to the point where I couldn't orgasm! The medium-high to high speeds are VERY intense, which may work for some, but will be too much for people like me. After trying it a few more times, I found that this toy worked best for me at it's lowest or medium-lowest speed. The vibrations are very deep and rumbly, which for me takes me a long time to reach orgasm, but once I do have one, it's wonderful and some of the best sessions I have.

Here's the other thing...the circumference of the bulbed end is also a bit large for me. 4 1/2" circumference is a lot for me, since my favorite dildo is only 3 1/2" circumference. Every woman is different, so this may be great for you (or maybe even not enough), but I really recommend comparing the circumference against the ones from toys you already own.

I can overcome both of these issues by having a slow warmup, and I always have great orgasms when I do this. Unfortunately this means I don't use it very often because I don't always have that much time.

I am giving this toy 4 stars because it truly does perform excellently, but my personal preferences are getting in the way of declaring this one of my favorite toys, which is a shame since I wanted it to so much! This absolutely does not mean that it won't work for you, but I really want you to think about your preferences before adding it to your cart!
