I'd call this Compact Vibe Mini G a beginner toy, but beginners deserve so much more than this. It looks cheaply made because it is a cheaply made toy. The only decent play I've had with this toy was when it came straight out of the box, and after that one time everything immediately tanked. I don't just mean "Eeehhh, it could have been better ... ", I mean the toy started falling apart after only a few uses, overheated and would go through batteries like you wouldn't believe -– while just doing the bare minimum in terms of delivering.

The Compact Vibe Mini G does earn a few points for concentration of stimulation in the tip, but that's about all I can say on that matter. Its nice rounded tip is useful in getting off, but you'll be far from seeing stars.

I'm a stickler for keeping all my toys clean, but even I wasn't too confident with the sterility of this toy after use (and after cleaning!). All those ruffled ridges along the perimeter look nice, and make for a decent grip. However, you do need to find a way to get between them when you clean the toy. And despite being an external toy, there is a very good chance of something worming its way in. This toy isn't waterproof either, so you'll need some elbow grease and toy cleaner to get between everything ... maybe even some cotton swabs.

Another gripe with this toy is that the metal bits that keep the batteries in place bent after a change of batteries, and then needed to be rebent and reshaped every time after that. I can take full responsibility for the damage, but the build was already flimsy to begin with.

The only time I'd even consider recommending this toy to anyone is when it's offered as a freebie. Otherwise, you should just hit "back" and keep looking. You'll be saving yourself a headache and $20.
