I’ve had my Ideal for four months, and I love it! I’ve tried other vibrators, including the Hitachi that others rave about, but I have nerve damage in my wrists, and the angles on the others never worked for me. Reaching and stretching to get the heads in just the right place made my hands go numb at the most inopportune moments. The angled handle on the Ideal is comfortable, makes reaching easy and varied, and allows for many different angles, all of them good.
I appreciate the design and feel of the head of this vibe. The size is large enough to make contact all along my labia, and the springiness of the head attachment allows for pressure that is intense without being too hard. The vibration on the Ideal is powerful. Even on the low setting, it can be a little too intense for direct clit contact at first. I’ve found that moving it around my labia, including pressure against my vaginal opening, does a lot to increase the blood flow and build my excitement, until I’m ready for intense, direct contact. Sometimes the lower setting is quite enough, but when I need more, the extra strength of the harder pulse is much appreciated. With the head pushed against the pubic bone, and the setting on high, I can feel the pulsing from my knees to my nipples, with waves of intensity passing for many seconds after the Ideal is turned off. Because I also enjoy penetration, I still want to check out the various g-spot attachments. The angled handle also makes the Ideal useful for actual muscle massage. I can use it to release tension and spasm in my shoulders and lower back, which is itself a nice prelude to orgasm. The Ideal will hold a charge for several active rounds, but it is important to remember to recharge! If it runs all the way down, recharging takes several hours, so you don’t want to be taken by surprise. To me, this is worth it, for I find the electrical cords annoying at best and entangling at worst, and endless batteries expensive and environmentally nasty. I have been looking at this one too because I hear the Hitachi is heavy and I have a disability that affects my hands as well. Someone who works for Eden told me that all the products by this company that makes the Ideal are made to be disability-friendly. Great review.
