Ina, what an upgrade!

Ina's design and silky texture is lovely just to hold, and when partnered with her multifunction, variable intensity, she was irresistible. She is the one toy to replace the others, and the fact that she's rechargeable means I never have to go steal batteries from an RC car or remote control ever again!
Published: March 23, 2011
Pros:
With her dual vibrating action, she reaches all the places you want reached.
Cons:
My only critique would be to make the clitoral stimulator slightly less rigid and more flexible.

Use

Ina has just replaced my old "standard" straight vibrator. Ina is a dual-action vibe that stimulates both the G-spot and the clit; and it has so many settings, making it very versatile in both strength and style of vibration. The Ina, like all of Lelo's toys, is very streamlined in feel and appearance. This toy would be great for anyone wanting dual stimulation without the necessity of two toys. While its shape doesn't allow for use as a penetration vibrator, it does give a feeling of fullness. It can be used solo or with a partner. The controls are easy to reach and use, and since it doesn't have to move around much, allowing a partner at the helm is fun.

Material / Texture

The Ina's dual shafts are covered in a soft, velvety, non-porous silicone. The clitoral stimulator is flexible enough to allow for precision placement, and the G-spot shaft is firm to provide pressure where it's needed. There was no noticeable odor once out of the packaging and cleaned.
    • No odor
    • Not porous at all

Design / Shape / Size

I adore the design of the Ina with its flowing shape and smooth, silky texture. It has two little motors, one located at the end of each arm, the settings for which can be adjusted somewhat independently in the controls. Placing the motors at the ends, in my opinion, was perfect because it puts the vibration right where I want it. The size was right for me but may not be for everyone. With Ina's help, I don't think anyone could consider themselves a beginner user for long, and advanced users may find themselves putting away old favorites in favor of Ina. It does have a locking mode for travel but not a locking feature while in use. It has a sleek look to it, but I believe it is easily recognizable for what it is.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The Ina features two vibrating motors, one at the end of each arm, which puts the vibrations where I want them. It has multiple modes, each of which have "volume control" for the intensity of vibration. I like to scroll at random and let myself be surprised. I did find that after Ina has done her job, I find the clitoral stimulus much too intense and have to remove Ina immediately. The controls are very easy to use with only four buttons: +, -, ^, and v. The seven modes are controlled by the up and down buttons, and the ten intensities are set by the + and - buttons. The Ina was surprisingly quiet though not silent, but under the covers while the roomie is sleeping, it is "no problem" quiet. The Ina is, unfortunately, not waterproof--only splash-proof for easy cleanup.
    • Discreet sound
    • Easy to use
    • Rechargeable

Care and Maintenance

The Ina is very easy to care for. Clean your Ina with warm, soapy water before and after use or use a water-based toy cleaner. Since Ina is covered in silicone, a silicone-based cleaner could damage the material. She came in a handy storage box and included a black satin travel bag. Ina is rechargeable and came with a wall charger. A two-hour charge gives four hours of performance. This is plenty of time considering Ina does her job in no time flat.
    • Easy to clean
    • Easy to store

Packaging

Ina came packaged in a color-coordinated outer box (it comes in orange, green, and purple) with a photo and description printed on it. Within the outer box was a sleek black storage box that simply states LELO. Inside, you will find Ina wrapped up for individual display, the charger, travel bag, warranty, and instruction book. The inner black box would be suitable for use as a gift box (I'd add ribbon) and works excellently as a storage box.
    • Good for storage
    • Would make a nice gift

  • How strong is the Ina in comparison to other vibrators?
    • I'm saving up for an Ina and want to be sure that it's worth it for my partner and I. I know my way around vibes pretty well so for those who own or have used an Ina, comparisons to any other vibe could be useful.

Particularly useful would be comparisons to the wahl 5-speed massager, the hitachi, the mimi and the we-vibe salsa, though. Those are especially appreciated!! :P

      Thanks!

(Discussion of other elements of the toy is fine too, if anything stands out about it to y'all)
    • I don't personally have any of those toys you mentioned, but you're more than welcome to send messages to the people who have reviewed it to see if they have any of the others you're interested in for comparison's sake. :) That's usually easier and faster than waiting for a response on a thread since they get buried so easily.

    • The battery in mine does not hold a charge very well, does this have to do with the speed im using?

the lower the speed the longer it will last

I guess so, but I usually dont use the max speed and the charge does last long :( I've had mine for over two months already.

  • Ina Buttons
    • I notice that the buttons on my Ina don't always respond the first time I push them...It's kind of annoying. Has anyone else had this problem with theirs or heard of this happening?
    • I noticed that, too. You just need to hold them down a teeny bit longer than you think you need to.

Yes, I agree. You have to give them a purposeful push to get them to change levels. But I just figured that was because the old Lelo toys were too easy to accidentally push and cause a change.

Hi, I was wondering is this product soft or is it hard for the material that was made into this product. Some times when the product is hard it kind of hurt certain places if not used right.
    • Sometimes it's easier to go to the product page and read some of the reviews on the product to find out information about it. Since I don't personally have the product, I do not know, but you might want to try out what I said. If the reviews do not answer your questions, ask the reviewer in a comment how firm or soft it is.
    • Also, on the product page, Victoria has a really good review which would answer all your questions. There is another thread about Ina, not linked on the product page (you can search the forums with the main search bar, though): link
