The Inked G-vibe from California Exotic is such a beautiful vibrator! It's so aesthetically appealing! I can see anyone who appreciates the art of tattooing (or just finds tattoos to be sexy) to be drawn to this piece, I sure was!

This vibrator was designed with the G-spot in mind (thus the name), but don't let that limit the possibilities. Use it on the clitoris, perineum, nipples, or anywhere else you enjoy vibrations. Because it doesn't have a flared base, I would use caution if you intend to use this item anally.

Size queens, this is not for you. The slim design of this vibe makes it an excellent choice for beginners, or those that prefer something on the smaller side.

Best for solo play. I can see this being used with a partner, but be careful, there's no give to this toy and the end is rather pointy.

When I opened the box there was no odor, and no taste. The Inked G-vibe is made of plastic with a velvet-cote on it. Because the vibe has a velvet-cote, it has a super silky smooth texture to it, even over the design (which was something I was worried about before purchasing). This is yet another reason why this would make a fantastic beginner toy. You don't have to worry if the texture is going to annoy you or not. It slides smoothly over the body, with no drag.

Since the toy is made out of plastic, it has no give to it. It's solid and you're not going to be able to bend it and it's very firm inside of your body. Be careful for that reason! It rates an 8/10 for safety and is made of food-grade material, is hypo-allergenic, latex free, and phthalates free.

What drew me to this vibrator in the first place, was the vibrant and beautiful 'inked' design on it. The design is made up of very common tattoo pieces; a heart, a cross, and an anchor with an aged ribbon wrapped around and through the pieces. It looks like something you would commonly see looking through a book of flash at a tattoo parlor, BUT it's not a common thing among sex toys, making it stand out in that way.




There are two different background colors you can choose from for this vibrator. Black and pink. I chose black since I don't care for pink all that much. The design is colored the same on both vibes though. The velvet-cote gives it a matte finish, so it's not shiny other than the cap and dial.

Aside from the graphics, this toy is obviously made to be a g-spot toy. It starts of straight, but ends with quite a dramatic curve to it. It's rather pointy, and can be uncomfortable if you're not careful when using it internally.

This is a very slender vibe. If you're used to penetration, this is not going to make you feel 'full'.

This toy is not discreet! If you left it in the open it would be pretty obvious what it is and what it's used for. For that reason, I would advise keeping it in a place where no one will see it.

The controls for this vibe are located at the base of the toy. On the cap (that you remove to put the 2 AA batteries in) there's a turn dial that goes from low to high.


It's a steady vibration, not pulsating. The vibrations actually get pretty powerful at the highest setting, but the higher you turn the dial, the louder the toy becomes. If you're a power queen like me, you'll find the vibrations on the higher side of moderate, but I wouldn't consider this toy to be intense.

This toy is very loud, and can easily be heard through a closed door, especially on the highest setting. I would try keeping that in mind if you're considering making this purchase.

The vibrations can be felt mostly in the tip, but do go through the whole vibrator. I noticed when I was using it internally that I couldn't tell where the vibrations were more powerful, this is something that's noticed more easily when you're holding onto it.

This toy is waterproof, which is always a huge plus for me. When I washed it off after I had finished using it, there wasn't a drop of water even in the thread of the cap. As long as you close it tightly, you won't have to worry about water getting inside of the battery compartment at all!

Using the dial is very frustrating. When you first put the batteries in, it's very easy to accidentally turn it on because the cap and dial turn the same way. What's worse, is that you have to use both hands if you want to turn the vibes higher or lower so that you're not turning the whole vibe inside of you, and it's not easy to do if you have lube on your hands.

Caring for this toy is very easy! Because it's waterproof, you can simply wash with warm water and antibacterial soap, or use your favorite toy cleaner. Make sure it's fully dry and the batteries are removed before putting it away.

You can store it in the original package (though it wouldn't make it discreet) or could use a toy pouch or plastic container to keep it in. I plan on just using the package.

On the side of the package it reads: "Always use a water based lubricant with this product for maximum pleasure.", but it's also compatible with silicone based lube as well.

This vibrator comes in a thin, mostly pink, plastic box, with a clean window on the front showing you exactly what the box contains. It's discreet in the sense that there's no naked bodies on it, but not discreet as far as what it contains.

This wouldn't make the best gift because it's not discreet, but it would work fine for storage as long as the box is out of sight.

In the box is a plastic tray that holds the toy securely in place so it's not floating around in the package.



There are instructions within the package that's mostly about putting the batteries in and how to use it. The instructions are in six different languages; English, German, Dutch, French, Italian, and Spanish.

I had really high hopes for this vibe, but it's not right for me. I felt more discomfort due to the rigid, pointy tip than I did any sort of pleasure when it was vaginally inserted. I used it for clitoral stimulation and that made me like it a little bit more, but I'm still quite disappointed. I have to be too careful to truly enjoy this toy.
