It's okay, but...
This is a great little clit vibe, nice and powerful, not too noisy, but definitely NOT waterproof: might be okay for shower use, but ours broke within a few days of submersing it in the hot tub.Published: December 2, 2008
Pros:
Nice strong vibrations, relatively quiet, cool handy shape that hits the spot.
Cons:
A bit on the expensive side for what you get, and definitely NOT waterproof.
I bought my wife this cool looking little vibe as a present a while back. She has always liked clit vibrations--in moderation, we've not yet tried something like the Magic Wand--and we have a tendency to wear them out. Of course we've always bought cheap vibes, like $15 or less, so I figured the Layaspot would be a bit more of an investment for us. Certainly I expected we'd enjoy it longer than we did.
One of the things that was so attractive about the Layaspot was that it's supposed to be waterproof. We love taking a good vibe into the hot tub with us, but it seems like powerful vibes can't be waterproof and vice versa. It was still cold weather when we first got it, so we used it for a couple of months in the bedroom before we took it to the backyard. In the bed, it's a great vibe. It's strong enough without being too strong. It's not too noisy, though it would have been nicer had it been a little quieter (we still had to turn the TV up a bit to cover the noise).
It also has a really nifty feature that we didn't think would be so nifty until we used it. It has a bunch of different vibration speeds and modes, which seemed to be thoughtfully arranged in an increasing order of heightening leading to climax. Lara would usually come just a few seconds after we made it to the first good pulse setting, which Lara nicknamed the "jackhammer". Couple it with a good dildo and you've got a recipe for a dozen or so orgasms and a really contented woman.
The Layaspot's downfall is that it is so totally NOT waterproof. We took it into the hottub once, and it was fantastic, but 3 or 4 days later it was totally whacked out. I took the batteries out to replace them and there was a bunch of water in the battery chamber. A few days later it wouldn't work at all.
So if you want a good bedroom vibe, the Layaspot is great. But if you want a waterproof vibe, this isn't the vibe for you. And if you find a really good strong vibe that IS waterproof, let me know - until then we'll just keep wearing out the cheap ones.

Both were really well tho and the music seting is fun feature!

waiting and wanting!
-
RadRachSo my partner and i decided to check out this site and order a bunch of new items. I just ordered the LAYAspot and it should be here friday! Ehh i cant wait! How does everyone feel about this cute toy? -
reading the MANY many reviews on the toy will give you a good idea about the overall feelings and consensus of the toys.

it's nice that there are so many user submitted reviews on this site. it's so hard to choose a toy, especially an expensive one, with only the manufacturer description.

LayaSpot Questions
-
So, I just posted a review of this toy on my blog and and am rereading some reviews here. I am seeing some discrepencies and have a few questions for you.
Some reviewers state that this is a waterproof toy but my instructions clearly state that it is only splashproof. Perhaps the instructions have changed? Maybe Fun Factory decided it wasn't really waterproof? If you have this toy, what did your instructions say?
Furthermore, a few people said that they received silicone based BodyFluid with their LayaSpot but I received their water based lube and, again, my instructions said not to use silicone based lube (I believe, can't find them).
Also, I think it's just me but my Layaspot pretty much smelled god awful when I got it. Anyone else?
Just looking for different experiences with these things.. -

I am seeing some discrepencies and have a few questions for you.I've heard that fun factory toys can stink to high heaven, and I have no idea why they would because they're supposed to be 100% silicone. I have other silicone toys and they don't smell at all. Maybe it's not the toy itself but the packaging that surrounds it? Sorry I'm not much help, but the smell that people talk about with FF toys is enough for me to be wary of buying one.

I am seeing some discrepencies and have a few questions for you.I have since pitched my instructions, but I think mine said splashproof rather than waterproof. I got the Toyfluid (water-based) lube, and mine was smell-free! All of my FF toys have been totally odorless, actually.

Thank you for viewing LAYAspot – vibrator review page!

Sorry to hear that your Layaspot died :(
Did the packaging say submersible or splash-proof? Just wondering. Thanks for the review!
Good review. Handy to know about the waterproof side of it. Cheers
Very nice review. Thank you for helping.
