Jingle Balls, Jingle Balls...Jingle all the Way!

The new and improved smart ball set by Funfactory is worth every extra penny. They have made positive changes to a few parts of the design and not decreased the comfort at all. This toy will help to strengthen your vaginal muscles whether you are I need of it or not. They will also arouse you without even knowing it. They are a great piece for maintaining sexual health.

Use

This pair of balls is meant to be used vaginally as a stimulator and exerciser. These may look like anal balls, but they aren't. If you are looking for safe anal play, a different item will be better for you. This toy is designed to be able to be worn discretely so that you can go in public and still be stimulated. They also strengthen your vaginal muscles, get the juices flowing, or can provide extra stimulation during vaginal sex. You don't have to be in need of strengthening your vaginal muscles to enjoy these, however they will do wonders for women with spinal nerve damage, and or weakened vaginal walls due to given birth. They are a bit large, so they may not be best for beginners. The smaller the vaginal balls, and the heavier they are...they harder your muscles will need to work to keep them in though, so keep this in mind.

Material / Texture

The Smartballs teneo are made very well and their construction is superior. They look like they are plastic balls covered and connected in silicone. The silicone is non-porous, pthalate free, hypo-alergenic, latex free, and of food-grade material. This silicone is perfectly safe for your body.

The previous version of these smart balls by Funfactory are made of Elastomed. I had no complaints about this as they were, but the silicone upgrade has me appreciating their new design even more. They are velvety like the other pair but not as much. They have no smell which is great.

The coating of silicone is not even an 1/8 of an inch thin, so the balls are still very hard even though they feel soft to the touch. There is absolutely no give to the shape. The material connecting the two balls is also silicone. It is stretchy and extremely flexible which can be a problem for some. I'll explain this later. Make sure to use lubricant with this in order to aid in insertion.
    • No odor
    • Not porous at all

Design / Shape / Size

These look so cool! They kind of look like some strange sport equipment. The colors of mine are gorgeous and actually are currently not offered on edenfantasys. Mine are a beautiful magenta/maroon and white combination. I hope that this version of the smart balls will eventually be offered in as many color choices as its previous partner.

This set of vaginal balls consists of a connected pair of slightly oval shaped balls, which are attached to a silicone "cord". In total, the length of the two balls together is just shy of 4 inches long.

The total length of the two balls together is 4 1/2 inches. With the looped cord, it adds about 3 inches to the total length making the entire thing 7 1/2 inches long (note the mistake in the details on edenfantasys, the insertable length is not 7 1/2 inches long).

The balls are of considerable size at 4 3/4 inches in circumference with a diameter of 1 1/2 inches, which is slightly larger than the previous version. This is a large size, especially since they have no give to their shape. I am on the tight side and have a hard time inserting these no matter how many times I have used them. The grooves in the design make this a bit tougher of a feat.

Their two tone design makes them a bit more discrete, but they kinda look like anal beads to those who are not better educated. It may be best to hide these if you easily become embarrassed, unless you have a cat in which you could play it off as a cat toy ha!

Performance

Vaginal balls have been known to strengthen vaginal muscles by stimulating the vaginal walls and they also help to repair a weak bladder after giving birth. Also by strengthening the vaginal muscles, it will increase your likelihood of achieving orgasm through intercourse alone. Your male partner will also enjoy the increased grip you will be able to give to his penis. Recommended use for this effect is to wear the balls a few hours at a time.

These balls are very easy to use and require no prep in terms of batteries. The package even comes with a sample lubricant to use with them. Since these balls are not tiny, lubricant is highly recommended and in my case, necessary. After relieving your bladder, slather the balls in lubricant (anything but silicone) and insert them much like you would a tampon. The same positions work best. I found that lifting a leg onto something was the best strategy. They are on the bigger side, so they do take a little bit of effort. These smart balls have a design improvement. There is a crevice at the top of the last ball that you index finger can sit in to push them in. I found that this made a big difference. My finger didn't accidently slip and pinch me with my nails. The best way to insert is to grasp the first ball around the base and stem. Insert that ball as far as you can and then insert the second by pushing it up with your middle finger. If you try to push the whole thing in by the bottom ball it bends weirdly and can either hurt, or takes a lot of force to insert.

Once inserted, it takes about a minute or two for the balls to fall into place. Once in place, it is like they are not even there! You can do kegel excersises to speed up the settling process. They are so unbelievably comfortable, that I wore them out to go to work! My job required me to walk around blocks of neighborhoods. The only discomfort I experienced would be when the cord would get caught between my panties and thigh. It would cause tugging on the balls. I would have to adjust every so often.

The balls are meant to "rattle" inside you since their are solid balls inside the balls. I didn't notice any vibration with this set, like I did the originals. I'm sure the balls were moving, but I did not feel nor hear them doing so. What I did notice, is that they made me extremely wet. This happens regardless of being aware that they are inside. The intrinsic movement that the vagina maintains to keep the balls inside is what arouses the body.

I explored and did kegels. I could feel my body move them higher inside me before relaxing and lowering them. If I pulled slightly on the cord, this increased the difficulty to do so. The pulling causes a resistance. These can also be worn during sex for a hands free way to engage in double penetration. They feel amazing rubbing against my inside walls while my partner enters me anally. They felt like they were falling out a few times, but never did. My partner also expressed that he could feel an added pressure that increased his orgasm.

The balls cannot get lost inside of you, so if you lose sight of the string, no worries. It is long enough, that this should not become a problem however. To remove them either relax and pull them out by the string, or stand and flex your stomach muscles and cough while pushing. I had a lot of pain while trying to get mine out. I couldn't relax enough. My body was fighting me tooth and nail and it took a good few minutes to get them out. I doubt everyone will have the same problem though. I think the problem is that the connecting piece of silicone is too flexible. I could get the first ball out no problem but the second had the give of the connector and fought me more.

Just like the original pair that I tried, these were dripping with my juices when I took them out. Not just pre-cum juice, but the kind of moisture that only is produced by intense orgasm. This surprised me since I didn't orgasm.

Care and Maintenance

This toy is extremely easy to clean. Use warm water and soap or anti-bacterial toy cleaning spray. Try not to use a soap with strong fragrance, if residue is left behind it could become irritating next time you use the toy. You may want to use a soft toothbrush to get the grooves clean as well (I have an extra one just for this purpose). The material does not collect a lot of dust or hair which is nice, and makes it easy to store as well. It can be placed back in the package for safe keeping. I would pat dry or air dry. Even though it has a silicone coating, I would be weary of putting it through the dishwasher or in boiling water because of the plastic. If you do so, do it for a short period of time and don't leave it unattended. Do not use silicone based lubricant with this because of the silicone coating. Doing so, will cause deterioration.

Packaging

The packaging is simple and discrete. It is only large enough to house the toy which is great because it is not wasteful, annoying, or unnecessary. The cardboard box is a silver with red accents. The sides have a brief description of the toy in a few different languages. The front has a clear part where you can see the toy inside. The one side of the box says to not use it anally, in your ear, or nose (wow!). The back has a cool magnetic flap that opens to describe the toy further and then opens again to a diagram of the toy. It displays the different aspects of the design and how to use it.

Follow-up commentary
After a student of mine consulted me about the Smartballs that she decided to purchase, I revisited both these and my original Smartballs. I must say that in comparison I see a much larger difference now. The design has even more improvements than I originally thought. I will no longer recommend the Smartballs original and will exclusively recommend these new Tenei duo or single vaginal balls. They are better designed for irregular and tilted vaginal canals and still work for the average woman. The only thing that the other ones have that I still like better is that they are easier to get out.
