Having never used nipple clamps before, I wanted to make sure the first pair I bought were user-friendly, adjustable and a reasonable price. This pair definitely lived up to all of these requirements and provided a great starting point. The benefit of these clamps is that you can really get creative with your uses as they're adjustable and have a chain perfect for tugging on or hanging things from. The chain is relatively short though and not easy to tuck into your mouth, but will comfortably hang between your nipples. I tried the clamps on underneath a few items of clothing and lingerie and they were a little to chunky to be hidden properly, but looked rather sexy just on their own. You can also clamp them to various other places, including your more sensitive lady parts, as you can adjust the tightness as required.

They are made of a high quality metal, with the tips covered by latex coverings to lessen the bite of the ends, making them perfect for lighter play. To adjust the tightness simply turn the screw to push the clamp open or shut. I would definitely recommend loosening them before you try to put them on for the first time, as they come fully tightened in the package. At first I made the mistake of turning the screw anti-clockwise in an attempt to loosen them, but because unscrewing the 'spacer' actually allows them to close a little more this actually made them tighter instead of looser, which was somewhat counter-intuitive!

As a novice, I found the tightest setting to be a little too much at first, but those with more experience may desire something that delivers more pain and pressure. However, you can mix up the sensations with a bit of tugging or by hanging some weights from the chain if they're adjusted tightly enough to stay on your nipples through that force. Considering the price, I think they offer plenty of fun for those keen to test out a pair of clamps before committing too much money to the cause or those wishing for an accessory to facilitate some lighter BDSM play.

Personally, I have rather small nipples and as such, I did find them very difficult to get on. Perhaps it is simply a matter of experience with clamps, but as they're so strong I found it difficult to get them open and onto my nipples before my fingers slipped or before they slipped off my nipples. However, once on they really were great and provided what I was looking after a few adjustments. They still do slip off occasionally, but I think this is just a reality for those of us without quite as much for the clamp to grip on to and those slippery latex tips! Overall, considering their price, I think they're a great investment and one that will have a place in my toybox for a while yet.

After purchasing a set of tweezer style clamps, I can definitely say they stay on my tiny nipples much better than this set does. I find I can actually adjust them properly, have a bit more control putting them on and generally just have a better time with them without them slipping/being difficult to get on. Whilst I love the look of the chain and these clamps, they really just don't work as well as the other style for me. I thought some of my difficulty with these clamps was inexperience, but I think in the end it was just that they weren't suited to my body. I'd definitely recommend women with nipples on the smaller side think about trying a set of tweezer clamps if these haven't worked for them.
