The LAYAspot ciltoral stimulator is a great vibe for those looking for a quiet discreet external vibrator. It could be used in any setting, since its almost silent. Its fully submersible, so it can go with you in the tub or shower. Easy to clean, and safe in a variety of colors, this toy offers everything but strong vibrations.

Use

LAYAspot clitoral stimulator can be used in so many different ways! Its totally versatile, and you can even get one in a different color for each use! Its great to use if you're by yourself, since it fits in your hand and against your body so easily. Its easy great to use during sex. We use it when we doing it doggy style. I just use my Liberator Wedge (or pillow) to hold it against my clit while he comes in from behind me. It does require some adjusting here and there, but its not strapped to me or down, so I would expect this.

This toy is also waterproof (color coding again!)! It can go in the tub or shower with you, and dries easily. My buttons have never had issues, and the battery compartment seals well.

It pulses and vibrates, so it can suit many tastes as well!

Material / Texture

The LAYAspot vibe is made of super safe Elastomed. Its nor porous, so there's less chance of it falling apart. Elastomed can be used with water or Silicone lubricants, so you don't have to worry which one you grab in the middle of the thing! Simply clean by using water and mild soap. Always be sure to clean around the buttons well, and don't leave behind any residue that could build up. This toy is also Hypo-allergenic, Latex free, and Phthalates free.

The material is sturdy, yet still feels soft. Its doesn't give like Siliocone or Jelly, but it is very soft. The toy is smooth, and moves around easily against the body. It also has no smell at all, which is fantastic because personally I can't stand smelly toys. Its too distracting for me.

Design / Shape / Size

This vibrator is slightly arched, to fit against you clit and body contours. It fit against me pretty well, but it might not if you have a larger space between pelvic bone area and clitoris region. The arch could be bent in the wrong spot for one to get it to settle int eh right spot.

LAYAspot is four inches long total, and has a circumference of four and 1/2 inches. It is not insertable though, and I would not recommend trying it. Its very light, and easy to hold. the arch makes it very easy to hold onto, as it fits the the hand well.

It has two up and down buttons, and each controls the intensity level accordingly. The toy requires two AAA batteries as well. this toy is also offered in a very wide variety of colors.

Functions / Performance / Controls

This vibrator is very, very quiet! Its the only vibe I've ever encountered that is so quiet. The vibrations are lacking due to this feature, but if you're looking for a very discreet toy, this feature is a major plus! Considering the volume of the toy, the vibrations that go with it aren't horrible. The vibrations do run the entire length of the toy, which is a great as well. It allows for me to hit multiple areas at once.

The toy has eight levels of vibrations, as well as pulsating patterns or varied intensities. It runs through them all easily with the up/down buttons. To turn it of can sometimes be a pain, since you have to press down several times. So if you're caught red handed with you're vibe, there's no quick shut off to save you.

It works well in the shower as well. It was more fun in the shower really for me, since the vibrations didn't tend to echo off the shower walls and seem louder. Didn't seem to do any damage to get it wet at all, everything still works just fine with it.

Care and Maintenance

Its super easy to clean, since its made of Elastomed. Just use warm water and a mild antibacterial soap. Since its submersible, if you do hold it under water be sure to pull the batteries out after use and let it all dry. I never had any issues with my battery compartment leaking, but you can never be too careful.

It small, and very easy to store. Could go in a nice box, or even just in your drawer. It doesn't attract lint or anything like other products do.

Cherry21, I don't believe you have ever written a review that I didn't love! Layaspot sounds awesome! Thank you for giving the details. Sounds like it'd fit well to most anatomies. There was another similar vibe like this that I was drooling over a few weeks ago. Lol. Forgot the name of it though. Glad to hear this was a nice one. Maybe this would be a good start before spending a lot on one of the more "luxurious" ones. I might just go for this one. Plus all the colors are nice!

      not sure but we have the Laya and the better than chocolate ( the music ed) both have their good points, but the laya is a little smaller and compact. Both were really well tho and the music seting is fun feature!

      Some reviewers state that this is a waterproof toy but my instructions clearly state that it is only splashproof. Perhaps the instructions have changed? Maybe Fun Factory decided it wasn't really waterproof? If you have this toy, what did your instructions say?

      Furthermore, a few people said that they received silicone based BodyFluid with their LayaSpot but I received their water based lube and, again, my instructions said not to use silicone based lube (I believe, can't find them).

      Also, I think it's just me but my Layaspot pretty much smelled god awful when I got it. Anyone else?

      Just looking for different experiences with these things..

      I've heard that fun factory toys can stink to high heaven, and I have no idea why they would because they're supposed to be 100% silicone. I have other silicone toys and they don't smell at all. Maybe it's not the toy itself but the packaging that surrounds it? Sorry I'm not much help, but the smell that people talk about with FF toys is enough for me to be wary of buying one.

      I have since pitched my instructions, but I think mine said splashproof rather than waterproof. I got the Toyfluid (water-based) lube, and mine was smell-free! All of my FF toys have been totally odorless, actually.
