Right now, I'd have to say the We-Vibe II isn't worth the money just based on my solo play. I will definitely write a follow-up review once my partner and I try it together, though.

Use

(Disclaimer: So far, I have only used this for solo play, as I prefer to test out all my toys by myself first before asking my partner to join in. I will post a follow-up review when the 2 of us have tried it together.)

I'm a little disappointed with the We-Vibe II so far. It looks classy and isn't intimidating, but it definitely is not as powerful as I would have liked. The very first time I tried it, I put the two ends together and held them against my clit which felt great. The second time, I inserted one end and left the other outside. I'm pretty petite, so I think the g-spot stimulator actually went right past the most sensitive areas of my vagina, but I could still feel it vibrating deeper inside me. The clit vibrator was, unfortunately, not strong enough for me. I need a lot of clitoral stimulation to orgasm and this was a little weak, even on the highest setting. However, with my partner both inside me and pressing his hips against mine, I could see the vibes feeling a lot stronger.

Material / Texture

The material of the We-Vibe II was as expected, a little tacky but not sticky, and there is no weird smell to it. There are some ribbed surfaces on the flat parts meant to stimulate the g-spot and clit, but they aren't sharp and should be fine for both beginners and more serious toy users. The toy itself is very flexible and should conform to almost anyone's body shape.

Design / Shape / Size

I thought the shape of the We-Vibe II was really cool. It curves and is flexible enough to fit perfectly along the contours of a woman's pelvis. As I mentioned above, I'm pretty petite (5'4 and slender) and I think the "arms" of the toy are a little too long to hit me in just the right spots. The size of the two vibrating pads aren't intimidating and I think it should be fine for a beginner or more experienced user. A beginner might be worried about fitting the toy along with a dildo or partner's fingers/penis in her vagina all at once, but with some careful maneuvering everything will fit with no discomfort. I think the We-Vibe II should be fine for traveling, since the shape isn't that of a traditional vibrator. It does come with a silk pouch for storage.

Functions / Performance / Controls

As some of the other reviewers have mentioned, you will have to poke a hole in the head of the toy to be able to charge it, but this isn't a big deal. The controls are on that same surface and I find them a little hard to press when the toy is in use. There is just one button which controls the settings and turns the We-Vibe II off once you cycle through all of them. I definitely wish the vibrations were stronger or the vibe pattern and speed could be controlled separately. I prefer a continuous, steady vibration and there are only two options for that: low and high which is really more of a medium. Even on the highest setting, the toy isn't that loud and while I wouldn't use it with another person sleeping in the same room, it should be fine for apartment living.

Care and Maintenance

The We-Vibe II is really easy to care for. Once you're done using it, just wash it off gently, dry it, and put it back in its silk pouch. Make sure you only use water-based lube with it! Especially if you plan to use it with another toy or a partner, be liberal with the lubricant on the insertable end.

Packaging

The packaging the We-Vibe II came in was pretty basic, but the toy is contained in a clear plastic section, so make sure to hide it from young or prudish eyes. The silk pouch which comes with the toy is the perfect size for it. The instructions were pretty sparse, but I don't think the toy is very difficult to use.

Very nice! Informative and interesting! I really enjoyed this review and soo appreciate that you took the time to include your personal experience in the beginning. That's really helpful because it gives a good idea of what a person likes and that helps to compare whether others would or not... do I even make sense tonight? Lol. Point is, you done a great job!       If you have an adult store near you I would suggest going. We decided on this toy because the store employee allowed us to see one out of the box and hold it and see what it does. by going to the store I got a better view of other things here that I was interested in.
    • I agree - head to your local toy store. That's how I decided to buy mine. Feel it, get a first-hand idea of the size, flexibility, etc. Then, if you like it, come back to Eden and buy it. If your local toy store is anything like the ones around here, they don't give half the number of discounts as Eden Fantasys. :)

      I have been having the same problem with it not staying in place during intercourse as well.

    • A simple yes or no works for me. Please feel free to get in depth on why or why not it didn't work well. I'm thinking of this as a gift for my husband on his belated birthday.

      Also, has this caused discomfort to anyone's penis?
    • It works better for me as a solo toy. My husband is on the smaller side of average and he was able to fit inside of me with this comfortably, but I prefer smaller girthed things so this plus him was a little too much for me. I haven't revisited it in a while though.
