extremely useful review
Every so often a toy surprises you, but sometimes it's not enough. When I pulled this toy out of the package I was underwhelmed, but not shocked. It looked like it wouldn't thrill me. I put batteries in it and the vibrations weren't thrilling and were so very buzzy. I worried about that pointy tip. It didn't seem like a good plan.

This toy is designed to be used either externally or internally. You could certainly use it for purely external stimulation of the clitoris, or you could choose to insert it for vaginal stimulation. Any other erogenous zones could be teased or tempted with it. You could use it for some mild external anal stimulation. One thing you shouldn't use it for is internal anal play, as there is no flared base. It is waterproof, so you could use it in the shower or bath. I tested this, and there was no noticeable loss of power.

There are three vibration settings, each of them a steady vibration. They are vaguely low, medium and high. I honestly don't think that the higher setting feels more powerful, it just has a faster vibration. They sound and feel different from each other, but each setting is roughly the same in terms of intensity. You move through the settings by pushing a small black button on the base of the vibrator. Pressing it once turns it on to the first setting, pressing it again moves it to the second setting, pressing it again moves it to the highest setting and a final push turns it back off. It is fairly quiet, but it also fairly weak so it makes sense.

The College Crush is made of PU coated plastic, so it has a velvety smooth feel. There is no squish or give to the toy, it is all firm. The entire length of the toy is right around 5 1/2", with about 3 1/2" of insertable length. I'm considering the insertable length as the length up to the silver metal ring. I suppose you could get a teeny bit more length if you are careful, but I don't know that it will matter much. This toy certainly isn't skinny, measuring at 1 1/2" at the widest points of the shaft. It runs on 2 AA batteries, which are not included. They are easy to insert and feel securely placed. After over an hour or playtime total, they are still going strong, so it doesn't guzzle batteries. To clean the College Crush, you can wipe it down with a damp cloth or use your favorite toy cleaner. As it has a motor, you can't boil it or place it in the dishwasher to sterilize it.
Experience
This one gets a mixed review from me. When I saw that point I cringed, and I was right to be anxious about it. Getting this toy in place is no picnic. That point didn't feel comfortable at all, in fact it hurt. I had to take a deep breath and get it past that quick icky drama each time.

So, why didn't I hate this toy? Because once you get that point directly over your G-spot, it really does a number on it. I like pressure on my G-spot, and this toy provides it. It provides lots of it, because that point goes above and beyond. Yes, the vibrations are weak and less than thrilling when used externally. But when you couple that pressure with the low level vibrations it caused orgasm after orgasm. I was shocked. I expected this little cheap toy to be a dud. But, it can do that one thing very well. Does it work for me externally? No. Does it work for generic vaginal stimulation or thrusting? No. Does it go to town on your G-spot? Yes.

The removal of this toy is more of the same uncomfortable pinching that inserting it gives you. It is really too bad that I associate the awkward placement and removal with this toy, or it might be more of a favorite. I think what is happening is flesh being pinched between the toy and my pubic bone, which is never fun.
Follow-up commentary
Again, I'm wishing for a "I still like it the same amount" choice. It still works, but it still has the stabbing point issue. I don't use it much, but it still performs when I do.

Great review. Too bad it is hard to get into and out of place. You mentioned that it was a buzzy. Most of the Cal Exotic vibes I have gotten have been quite buzzy so it is not my favorite brand.
