Citron florentine - vibrator by Evolved Novelties - review by Tuesday

The Citron Florentine comes packaged a beautiful metal box. The back of the box states that the product is not for internal use. Seriously? Why state that it should not be used in the manner for which it was obviously designed? Certainly they don't think someone will try to swallow it. I wrote to California Exotics about this but they didn't reply. Rebel that I am, I used it internally.

The vibrations feel very nice on the clitoris, but it’s with the forbidden internal use that they really excel. Even though it’s straight, it provides excellent g-spot stimulation. I can achieve a g-spot orgasm easily with this toy.

It has three levels of vibrations. The difference between the levels is marked. The lowest setting gives just gentle vibration. The highest level delivers powerful vibrations. I find that the middle level is easily strong enough for me. While on the lowest setting it is quiet, on the highest setting it’s quite loud. Others will be able to hear it from the other side of a closed door.

The vertical flutes on the Florentine don't provide a pleasant sensation when the toy is inserted more than a few inches. But you probably won't want to insert it that far anyway. It feels best when the vibrating motor at the tip, is near your g-spot. I only insert it a few inches. Thrusting with just the first few inches, where the flutes aren't pronounced, feels wonderful. This vibrator is a full six inches around at its widest point. While other products that are this big around feel good, the flutes on this vibrator make me feel stretched without extra pleasure. I believe the flutes are there for their beauty.

It has easy a single button control located at the end of the handle, allowing you to easily switch between speeds or turn it off. The battery compartment has an inner battery holder, to make it easy to keep the batteries separate from the vibrator when not in use; then quickly pop them back in for the next use. It is completely waterproof, the battery compartment being sealed with a rubber gasket.

The vibrator has hardly any smell; just the faintest initial superglue-like smell which faded after a few uses. It is phthalate-free for extra safety. It’s made of TPR which is somewhat porous, so cover it with a condom when sharing. It cannot be sterilized, but cleans easily with soap and water. It’s safe to use with both water and silicone-based lubricants.
