Love this Lube!
This is the lube that makes lubes fun! A little goes a long way, provides excellent lubrication without having to get sloppy and messy, is easy to clean up, and warms up very nicely!Published: January 4, 2010
Pros:
Easy clean up, long lasting, little goes a long way
Cons:
Little on the expensive side, can warm up a little too quick
This is the lube that makes lubes rock. In my experience in the past, lubes have been messy, smelly, inadequate, uncomfortable, and staining. This lube, though, is none of that! It has a great scent if you even notice it, doesn't stain, lasts forever, and comes right off when you're done. And a little goes a long way!
For personal play, a single drop is plenty and will last a whole drawn out session and provide exactly the kind of lubrication necessary. I find for partner sessions, a few more drops is plenty, although more can be used for extra fun! The clean up is so easy, too! It comes right off of whatever you get it on when you're ready to remove it, but not beforehand. I have no idea how that works and I'm sure it must be magic, but I'm grateful for it. Even though it's water based, it provides the lubricating smoothness of a silicone lube, but is SO much easier to clean up!
For personal play, it's an absolute dream. The warming sensation is so arousing and not over powerful at all, but not a disappointment either. The warming sensation lasts well on toys, too, and even warms up fingertips nicely, for a very sensual experience.
With a partner, the warming can get a little intense if you get the friction going really quick! The more friction you have, the warmer this stuff gets, so it may be best to speed up slowly the first couple of times just to make sure you don't warm things up too quickly! Although for foreplay, such as heavy petting and the like, the warming sensation was excellent and my bf couldn't say enough nice things about it. Just a little on my hands and a quick rubbing of the hands together and any cold was eliminated - no more freezing cold lube!
Ingredients are Propyl paraben, mthyl paraben, sodium carboxy, methyl cellulose, acacia honey type A, peppermint, and purified water. The taste is very pleasant but light - reminds me of a nectar instead of a honey or other kind of sweetened treat. Doesn't stick around, either - no aftertaste or gummy in the mouth taste, so if you don't like it, at least it's gone pretty quickly.

I've really grown quite fond of this lubricant! I seem to have adjusted to the heating and it no longer gets 'too hot' when being used!

Thank you for viewing System JO H2O warming lubricant – water based lube review page!

Very nice review! I've heard lots of nice things about System Jo products, might be time to try one myself!
I am curious about the ingredients, I have problems with glycerine products and those with added sugars. On just a really small point does this lube have an awful taste or a mild one? Would you recommend it for anal play?
Wonderful to see that htis product worked so well for you! Welcome to the community!
Thank you, Airen! Ingredients are Propyl paraben, mthyl paraben, sodium carboxy, methyl cellulose, acacia honey type A, peppermint, and purified water. I'm not really into anal play, so I'm not sure I would recommend it. They do have their own anal lubricant in the same line, so I imagine that's what you would want.
Thank you so much for the warm welcome, too! I'm happy to be here - I love the community so far!
Very nice review, I think I might have to give this lube a try one day!
You might want to try out the extended format, it helped me out when I started writing reviews (which was not that long ago).
@Airen
I havn't tried this, but I have tried some KY-Warming anally. NEVER AGAIN!
It hurt so f-ing bad. Like stinging as if I put some kind of pepper or something in my rectum.
Just be warned about that for "warming" lubes.
"cooling" lubes appear to work fine anally (like ID Pleasure which has menthol in it) but not working
Again, I would edit your review to include the answers here to make it more useful.
Nice review! I'm curious about this one now.
Thank you, Viktor, Lauren, and Newme! I've updated to include the information again. I'm gonna definitely try the extended format next time, Viktor!
Hi, nice review, the only thing that was a little confusing to me was in the third paragraph, you said the warming sensation can be a little powerful, that it can take some getting use to. Then you stated that it wasn't over-powering at all. Other than that I liked your review a lot, it is very useful.
Sorry about that, Pleasure Clit - I think I was originally going to combine the third and fourth paragraphs, but then it made sense to separate them! Should be a little clearer now - for personal play, it's not overwhelming, but with a partner it can get a little intense (more friction + more body heat).
Sounds like an interesting product - I haven't tried warming lubes.
Thanks for the review!
good review
