This toy was definitely designed
Figuring out which
vaginal balls to try out first was a bit of a hard decision for me. I didn't want to go expensive, but I did want quality. The most challenging part of figuring out which ones to buy was the fact that I wanted a smaller series of balls that were still connected with a string. I didn't care so much if they vibrated or felt pleasurable, I wanted to buy them with the intent of using them to exercise. I didn't go with the barbells because I wanted something I could wear around the house. Thus my decision to buy the
Lover's Pleasure Balls.
The best part of my experience with these balls? They came almost a full two days early in the mail. The "Yay!" factor pretty much ends there. They had very little weight to them and were slightly bigger than I was hoping. Also, the jelly material was much more firm than most other jelly toys are. For those of you disappointed in the unavailable information in the properties tab, here were the measurements that I came up with. Each ball is about 1 3/8" in diameter and the overall length from the first ball to the end of the handle is just over 11 1/2". And the "insertable length" from the end of the first ball to the end of the last ball is about 6 1/2".
I was able to insert them but they had much more friction than I was expecting. Once I had them in, I tried to do my kegel exercises. I found it harder to find my muscles and the balls didn't provide a very full feeling. I couldn't really feel the balls inside me at all. There was one moment when I plopped down in a chair when I forgot I had them in me, and felt an unexpected feeling of fullness and extra weight there. But sadly when I tried to repeat the movement, the level of awareness erased any spontaneous pleasure I might've felt before.
Standing, these balls stayed in place with their size alone so I didn't get a lot of challenge there. I tried the tug-a-war method that Braniac Chick recommended in her
review, but my kegels won everytime. This boosted my confidence for a while but when it came to pulling the balls out with my kegels cooperating, I found that a challenge for me not my kegels. This diminished any sense of accomplishment I had gained earlier. Really, the most effective exercise I found with these was to insert them and then force them out one by one with the use of my kegels. This felt a little bit like what I imagine going into labor to feel like, granted, much less daunting and painful! The first ball was easy enough to push out and the second started "crowning" after a while and with some work I pushed it out. But the third was by far the hardest. While it was the same size as the other two, there was less inside me and so I really had to concentrate on where I was pushing. Eventually, it came out and I gave myself a break before repeating the same exercise.
To sum up, these toys are not pleasurable but they can provide an ample workout. While the exercises are limited, expecting women might find the exercises you can do with them particularly effective. And until I find something that is more versatile, I'll continue to use these in the meantime.
