Low intensity, high travel
The Lelo Nea vibrator has great features for someone who likes a softer touch and likes to take their time.Published: June 14, 2010
Pros:
Keys lock for travel, Super Quiet, Compact.
Cons:
Not super powerful.
The Lelo Nea is super small and pretty to look at. It is 3 inches long and 1.5 inches wide and comes in a small black box with a white storage bag. My Nea is black with little pink flowers painted on it and has two buttons side by side to control vibration intensity and pattern. This vibrator is adorable. Its size alone makes it ideal for travel, but to one up itself, this vibrator also has a locking key feature that allows you to keep it from turning on when you take it with you on trips. Another wonderful feature is the rechargeable battery, allowing you to save money on all those pesky batteries.
So, in theory, this toy is great. It has lots of pros already but, in practice, it falls a little short. I love the many options of patterns and strength, but this toy is just not quite strong enough for me. The setting that I have tried most is the steady vibration on the high vibration. It's strong enough to feel and starts to get me there but it seems like I just never get that extra push to send me over the edge. Maybe if I tried it on a lower intensity and then moved up to the highest later on I might have a better experience. I do eventually succeed in having an orgasm with this vibrator, but it takes forever! Sometimes it's nice to take your time and just enjoy your ‘me time'; but other times, it's all about getting off and quick, especially if it's one of those nights where multiple rounds are called for.
I'm planning on giving the Nea some more experimental time. I want to try the different patterns out more and see if starting out lower or any other combination of the settings gets me to a place where I can enjoy this toy more. At the very least, this is one I would seriously consider taking on trips. It's super quiet too, which also makes it travel friendly.

compare with lelo lily
-
is it the same motor? any significant difference in sensation due to different surface texture?
-
Near as I've been able to tell, literally the only difference is that they're coated in different materials. Nea is a smooth shiny plastic while Lily has a more velvety matte silicone covering. The only difference you should be able to feel is the same difference between anything that's plastic vs anything that's coated in silicone or velvet cote.

it´s seens a little different but because they all are different colors but i guess they work the same

Gold plated Nea

Anyone else see this?!!?
"Meet the world's most expensive vibrator, a 18 karat gold-plated piece that weighs approximately 5 ounces and is 3 inches long. Made in Sweden by Lelo, it has a suggested retail price of $1500, but can be yours for as little as $999. " -
Pretty, but I just can't imagine spending that much. I mean, when the battery burns out, what do you do with it? I know that, after the one year warranty expires, you can send it back to LELO so that you can get the next item at 50% off; but, at $999, I hardly think that's a good deal any longer (though I totally think the "regular" LELOs in the HOMME and FEMME line ARE a good deal). Especially if this burns out after a year and a half (or, even worse, just one month past the one year warranty).

A little too high end for my budget

Thank you for viewing Nea – clitoral stimulator review page!

I thought your review was somewhat useful to read. I would like to read more about your thoughts on the toys feel and texture and how easy is it to use.
Thanks for the feedback! I will keep it in mind when I do a follow up!
