Lucid dream No. 14 by Doc Johnson

Lucid Dream #14 packs high quality features into an aesthetically pleasing toy at a reasonable price. This toy is a winner. The Lucid Dream is designed to be a g-spot stimulator—and it certainly does that—but it also equally effective for stimulating the prostate, or even external clit stimulation. The vibrator is multi-speed and is controlled with a simple dial on the base of the toy—while it does not have any pre-set vibration patterns or other variable features like some more “luxury” toys the dial gives plenty of control and variation in speed and intensity.

The toy itself is designed with one large egg-shaped bulb containing the vibrator and then an hour glass shaped body tapering out to the handle where the control dial is located. One of the big advantages to this design is that because the vibrations are centralized in the bulb end of the toy it does not need to be fully inserted to give plenty of stimulation—that leaves plenty of hand space on the toy for easy movement and manipulation, especially beneficial during solo play. The vibrator itself provides plenty of stimulation, but its location in the toy and its design means that it remains relatively quite, even at high settings!

Lucid Dream 14 is made out of jelly, and while I prefer silicone for toys (for sanitation and longevity), the material is of high quality and holds up well as long as it is consistently cleaned. The jelly on this toy is a little more rigid than most jelly toys and while some might find this off-putting the rigidness helps when trying to direct the toy towards specific pleasure points—and it certainly doesn’t detract from comfort, the smooth toy slides easily as long as there is lubrication. The other main feature that the Lucid Dream can boast is that it’s waterproof. The locking battery compartment means that this toy can be taken into the shower (or bath) without worry and that alone makes this toy worth checking out.

Lucid Dream is a high quality toy for a low price and a good investment for anyone looking for a well-designed vibrator to start or fill out their toy collection.

We've had this toy for over 3 years now, and it is still one of our favorites. While it's not made of silicone it has held up remarkably well with little sign of any wear. This toy is extremely versatile and so both my partner and I use it frequently when we're playing alone or together. The Lucid Dream is a waterproof toy that hits the right spots, a great value, and one that still sits at the top of my list of favorite toys.
