The
Lucid Dream #54 offers one of my favorite features in a vibe - the motor in the head. The motor and the head are both quite prominent, the first being quite powerful at higher settings and the second being fairly large and bulbous.
The vibe is curved and thicker at the tip than down the shaft. There are rows of 3 prominent raised ridges in the underside of the head and on the top of the base of the shaft. The ridges on the head are quite effective for clitoral stimulation, especially since the motor is located right under them. Along with the curved design and large head, they also make effective g-spot stimulators. I found that initial insertion when using this vibe can be somewhat uncomfortable, due to the large head, prominent raised nubs, and prominent curve. However, once in place it provided quite enjoyable sensations. When used internally, however, I recommend this vibe more for probing the g-spot than for thrusting; the nubs are simply too large to make repeated insertion and extrication comfortable, at least for me.
I don’t know quite what to make of the raised nubs at the bottom of the shaft. They balance the vibe out visually and make it more aesthetically pleasing. But I really didn’t find any other real use for them except for providing a textured gripping surface on the otherwise smooth shaft.
The Lucid Dream #54 takes 2 AA batteries, and provides a decent amount of power on its highest setting. It is also not extremely loud, even when going full speed. It is powered by a corded hand controller, a feature I also like on a lot of
vibrators. I find the vibe easier to control when I can hold the control pack in my hand instead of playing “hunt for the button between your legs”.
Like all the Lucid Dream products, the #54 provides a reliable, if unexceptional, experience.
Still not blown away by it, and still not sure what those nubs on the narrow end do except provide aesthetic balance (though I suppose that's enough, since it's very pretty!). Still, a very durable and reliable vibe, and excellent for external stimulation for those who have difficulty inserting the large head! Mine has held up very well!

My feelings exactly... :( Great in form, but not in function.
Ahh, another lucid dreams vibe! They are just, so....almost good...... Oh well.....
It might be worth trying for the price, but I wasn't blown away by this vibe. It is very pretty, but that's mostly what it has going for it (and you can use it externally, if it doesn't work for the g-spot). It's not actually terribly easy to maneuver because the head is so large and nubby that moving it around to much was rather painful for me.
If you're just starting out and looking to experiment, this might be worth a try. Unfortunately, I've found the more effective g-spot stimulators, for me, at least, are going to require more of an investment.
I was thinking about getting this one for my next order. (Im kinda experimenting with the g-spot vibes at the moment) Do you think this one it worth it? Was it easy to maneuver?
The only thing I dont know if I would like are the nubs. They have never really done anything for me. Great review. :)
